Hi has anyone managed to get the game Street Fighter IV working on the SGS3 yet? If so can you help me get mine working? I have managed to get mine to play but it ends up force closing & has a pure white background on the background stage you play in? Then the controls lock up & then it force closes!!!!
(I have edited this post because due to the first comment below or not wanting to upset anyone, just note I am not sharing wares & don't anyway, this is a forum & I'm just asking for sum advise, if this is against xda policy I will ask for the thread to be deleted, I love xda & don't wanna upset anyone or break any rules in this forum)
(Please don't ask for the apk's I am not sharing or breaking the rules on xda, I am just asking for sum help, if you want to find or pirate apps via torrents that's up to you, you make your own choice, people work hard making apps & games & donating or paying for apps is the right thing to do, just thought I'd make this clear before I get trolled on in this thread!)
Any help from here would be great cause I love my street fighter games from back in the day & would love to play this on my S3 cause iPhone have had this game for quite a while.

I'd be more than happy to buy street fighter 4, i buy all my apps (not kidding there)
But if it's not available and i know i can get it online then do i donate and then just download it? Seems a little silly, seeing as though the SIII is more than capable of running pretty much all games, i don't see the issue.

The issue is that they didn't release it for our gpu. It's for adreno phones. The game will never run properly.
How were you planning on donating to capcom?!

Don't get me wrong Dladz, u know me from Foxhound forum & I'm a good man on xda & am always helpful & never rude, I have bought plenty of apps, If there good I buy them.... Tasker, Power Amp & more. I'm an old skool Streetfighter fan & would love this on my Sgs3 I just wanna see this working on here!

Nope, no need to install on your phone. Just make sure you have flash (duh) and choose one of the links that gives you. Usually the "HD" links that they recommend you are ready to go. But if you click on a link that say "you have to install a program", just ignore (because you won't be able to install them on your phone anyways) and click on another link.
I've been using freerow, has good quality ones, especially sports such nfl or nba. I've been on vacation still and nowhere near my computer or tv, and its helpful!

I will be able to get a SGSII over the next week for £170. Yeah it's second hand but it works perfectly fine.
Firstly, is this a good price for the phone? It seems like it to me.
Secondly, I'll have about £250 to spend in total, so is this phone really the best choice or are there better phones out there for that budget?

There are (probably) hundreds (many dozens at least) of these threads on here already. You can get the info you need from those. We don't really need another one of these threads. The info re: whether it's a good price is probably best answered by a marketplace like eBay (or elsewhere; perhaps even XDA's own marketplace).
I appreciate that fact, but search on the xda app is no good and desktop version lags too much and regarding the price, yeah I could've looked on eBay, but considering I was asking a question in this forum that I may aswell ask that here aswell.

To the OP, what you need is the zip file of the rom that you want and flash that in recovery. Does that answer your question?

Well,
there are a hundred stories about it on google, but I've yet to here from adobe as to the real cause.
My belief is the difficulty they are having trying to support the massive amount of device and software variants on so many devices.
They simply cannot keep up with the pace of android development....IMHO
And perhaps a suitable replacement is in the works anyway.
Of course, they make the big $$$ on home based PC's and laptops anyway...g
If you want to get Jelly Bean and use an .apk instead of a ROM try nova or apex launcher...go into settings for the launcher and to version...click beta...then reset the launcher...it gives the look and feel to JB while not having that actual operating system...
but do NOT flash any JB apps or mods as you will be running a JB theme of sorts not the actual operating system...at most it will boot loop but who really wants that...unless you have a sweet boot animation
If you were looking for flash for video stand by I guarantee something is replacing it as Google will not be slacking in the video department...They own YouTube... I just do not see them losing something that was an advantage over their biggest competitor for the longest time for no reason...they aren't dumb by any means and I will throw money up to bet there is something replacing it...
Greg was right in the sense that Android has lost a good amount of game developers because keeping up is hard but Google has its users backs...they will come up with something no doubt..

Every one please try this app.... It's called seeder. I don't f*ckin understand the app description but it works just as told... The developer has done a very good job...
Running my tab with jb 4.2.1 yet it had some performance lags... Very small jerky-Ness (sorry Pershoot, couldn't help it.)
Installing this app has very much reduced the lag... As the app description says, there is no improvement in performance but the lag got considerably reduced.... And the change is instant (within milliseconds!!!!!!)

No problems, XDA rules have zero tolerance policy for warez. Saying your file was an older beta version would have been different.
I just hate seeing guys who mean well get in hot water over a misunderstanding. If someone reported your thread or a mod saw it [before your edit], you may have been disciplined.

I have a feeling we're going to need Hash for the Note 3. Also had I not went back to a Note 2 I would have got the S4 since you guys got Hash on board. Now those S4 guys need to get DHacker a phone to get AOSP going through SS. Another person who will probably develop for S4 SS is nitroglycerine since he is very familiar with Moto SS using his Eclipse ROMs. Sorry for OT but it was a good thing you and others did for the S4 guys. In a sense glad they get to taste what us Moto lovers have been dealing with for a while now. I think most moto haters/Sammy lovers thought it would never come to locked BL's on their devices.

Do the following
System Settings>Display>Wallpaper>Home and lock screens
That will allow you to always set the same paper on both Home AND Lock screen
Let me know if that is what you were looking for.

@Obsidian... i was glad to see you were able to get Hash to help the S4 users out! Thats what this is all about! Even helping those out when you dont even have the device! Im rather curious how hard it would be to merge it over to the N2. The thought of booting from ROM to ROM in a matter of seconds again makes me miss my Bionic in SOME ways. Well OK one way! but still LOL.
Thanks for creating thread! I too came from the OG Droid, D2, and D3 and left Moto due to many issues and lack of quality.

Kitkat will be the next version of Android after JellyBean. As you may or may not know new versions of Android are named by dessert/sweets and in alphabetical order. The order goes as follows:
A was Astro
B was Bender
(The first two were never released to the public)
C was Cupcake
D was Donut
E was Eclair
F was Froyo
G was Gingerbread
H was Honeycomb

I had no doubt that it was for sure gonna be KLP. Took me by surprise, (and a whole lot of others as well.) I like it tho. Makes me want to run to the gas station and pick me up one

Ya the one on the release looked somewhat appealing...even though of course there wasn't much to see lol. And I actually am thinking that I wouldn't have so much of a problem with having a bit of a smaller phone now that I have a tablet. Before, I wanted a nice big phone. But I could sacrifice a half inch or maybe just a tad bit more....maybe...IDK!!

Hopefully I can get some help in this thread. Thanks for setting it up.
My issue is with the camera/camera preview.
If an app needs to use the camera to take a picture, it doesn't show the preview of the photo after the picture has been taken.
For example, in the Bank of America app, when I go to take a picture of the check for check deposit it doesn't show the preview of the picture for me to accept it or take to take another if the picture came out blurry.
Another example I came across is with the CamScanner app. If I take a picture to scan it to a .pdf, it does not show the preview of the picture after I have taken it.

Trust me you didn't miss anything. Basically a "Faster" phone, and a "Better" display. Oh and a weird leather back. More than happy to stick with the Note 2 especially since the Note 3 will probably be as locked down as the S4 on Verizon.
