Try ticking HW overlays in Developer options.
Still rebooting on youtube even after ticking hw overlay. Tnx anyway. Any other ideas? I'm now running 142 cm10.
Push the min CPU freq to above 700 while watching youtube
Post the logcat when FC is showed.
This will help the developer to help you.
Youtube apps doesn't force close, it totally reboots my phone. I don't know how to get logcat but I can research on that.
I changed governor from interactive to ondemand and it looks like issue has been resolve for now, will still test and check for consistency.
Thanks for all the reply.
Will report back after couple of hours.
Instead of YouTube, watch videos from tubemate app.. Better thing to do!

My Vibrant is constantly crashing and force closing. I've tried factory resets, running different roms (as well as stock) and nothing has fixed my problem. I've tried fixing permissions in Rom manager as well as in CW.
Basically what happens is my phone runs great and then it will start to get laggy (if I'm watching videos or playing games they start to get choppy) and soon crawl to a hault. After that it freezes. Sometimes it freezes and reboots on its own and other times I have to pull the battery. The reboot after that often takes up to 15 minutes to boot back up.
This randomly happens when I'm talking on the phone, playing games, surfing the net, etc...it's not one instance that causes it. If anyone has an idea of why this is happening please share but what I'm really looking for is a way to get a crash log so I can see what's happening as well as a place to submit it to Google to see what's happening. Thoughts?
Edit:
I'm using Ultimate - v8.2 JS8 with the Bali 1.8.8UV kernel:

Probably need to psot what ROM/kernel you are using so that someone can help diagnos the problem better.
Here is an app that will logcat what is going on.

It's listed as a bug in the report thread, so you're not alone. I just installed it to try and while I can take a picture, as soon as it asks me to apply an effect I get an FC loop.

Almost the same behaviour with different ROMs: I'm not able to keep my Sola continuously on for more than 2-3 days because after a while it becomes unstable.
Force Closes happen mainly with Opera Mini and then with other apps until the phone freezes or reboot itself.
Up to now the more stable and fast ROM for my Sola is FXP CM (from 210 to 212), but also in this case no more than 3 days before a reboot.
I'm a bit frustrated because I'm not able to find out the solution: I'm considering also to move to stock Gingerbread hoping that my Sola will work better.
For our Sola, I have read suggestions to reboot the phone once a day and probably it could be a "solution", but I don't agree: I remember that my old HTC Wildfire was able to work stable for weeks of quite intensive use without any reboot.

Hmm, interesting.
Maybe it's a problem with ram, I guess.
Go to Settings>Developer options>Background process limit - set this to "2" then tell if there is still a problem.

I have already tried with 1, 2 and 3 without any good result.
I don't understand why the phone works very good for almost one day and then start having some force closes and bad behaviour: for a low RAM problem, I expect issues also at the beginning.
Furthermore, when my Sola starts having force closes, the situation becomes worst and worst without any possibility of recovering: at the end, I have to reboot if the phone is too unstable or freezes otherwise it reboots itself.

try a clean install, as in wiping everything and reverting to stock..
revert
revert to stock rom for stability. just add some tweaks and change kernel for performance

When i do usuall things, phono randomly freeze. Only solution is to hard reset phone. This happens usually when i watch YouTube video.
I tried to use diffrent types off settings: without overclock, or with overclock, but it still happens.
This happens when i used another rom too.

You're using the nAa-2.6.32.60-jb-05 kernel? It's got some problem with video (be it recording or playing). With the latest MiniCM10 nightly, the problems are less, but expect it to be sorted when nAa brings the next kernel. (He's working on one last one for our devices)

In the starting screen i have 2.6.32.60-nAa-05. It freeze every hour, but only if i doing something.
I found some solution, if I play youtube video on portrait mode it freeze seldom. But I found another bug, there isn't be a camera. When i download custom camera from Google Play, it doesn't start.
I'm Experiencing a bug in every Lollipop ROM based on Stock that I tried. After sometime of system boot up (like, 1 or 2 hours) the video playback don't work, and I need to reboot the phone if I want to play any kind of video. it doesn't affect only facebook, this affects, Youtube, Facebook, Video app, Snapchat, etc...
I Searched a lot and didn't find any solution :/
Try disabling Use NuPlayer in Developer Options to see if that fixes the issue.

I've been facing this bug since Lollipop was released and I still don't know a solution. At least it happens to me about thirty or more hours after boot.

Sorry to hear it didn't work, it worked for me on my nexus 7 but I don't really play much video on my sony z2
Experiencing same issue with all stock LP versions. I hoped that 5.1.1 build will fix it, but after few hours HW playback/recording stop working again.
