Used Divinciteam to upgrade my X10 from 1.6 to 2.1 firmware earlier today, all appeared to go ok, but afterwards my phone just says 'No sim Card'.
I have raised a support ticket with DVT, their online support is offline at the moment!! and had no reply in past hour or so.
Going mad as i need my phone and am due to go out as soon as i get it sorted.
Can anyone possibly help with this please.
I know i should contact DVT, but as stated i have and have had no reply as yet.
Thanks.
Hi there,
i have problems with my X10i, since the first day i got it i've had problems with my simcard wich are :
- couldnt read 'my number' in phonebook
- every now and then my phone says no sim-card thus not giving me 3g/network
back in the day (1.6) i could just put it on airplane-mode and back off to get the signal back (not realy a solution) after i installed 2.1 (via XDA) i hoped the problem would be gone. but no sadly it's still here. i went to T-mobile shop wich told me i had to give the phone to them (thus beeing phoneless for 3 weeks or so). so i started trying to fix this problem myself.
- new install
- no task managers
- clean the simcard+holder
- eventualy i read that the problem with 'my number' in phonebook could be solved using a 2nd phone. so i did that and loaded the number in a samsung phone. put the sim back in my X10i and i had a number in phonebook .. YAY but no .. that was not the solution to the second problem.
- i installed bluesparks v5.. but still the problem is still there.
anybody have a solution besides bringing it back to the store ? (no the simcard is new as is the phone and according to the ppl from t-mobile its not the simcard)
Ty for ur reply's
1. For the phone number agenda detection solution. You need to use a phone that allows you to especify your phone number into the sim. A phone like SE w580 use agenda options to declare the phone number after that the sim uses that number in your X10, just that simply.
2. For the network solution i think you need the APN settings. Check this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=876878&highlight=apn+settings
okey ty for the reply mate will try it right now using the 2 APN xml files in ur link. and i already managed to fix the phone number problem using a samsung phone P so its just the problem with the phone saying no sim card every now and then
will get back with you i'l see if the phone keeps dooing its job as intended
hey mate, today i had it again : No sim-card in phone .. so .. nope its not the APN settings. any other suggestions any1 ?

Hi,
Its been very recently that I bought SGS3 i9300 *exynos not qualcomm, in used phone and I'm pretty much in the dark what material does SAMSUNG puts into his phones to make them full of *beep*.
I was running XXELKC 4.1.2 firmware and I decied to just root > recovery > CM12.1 or CM13 SGS3.
Well everything went well but I ended up with no sim card error. Then I thought that might be my sim card is corrupted so I put in a newly replaced microsim card and put in the phone still no good.
Then I did wipe system+cache+dalvik+data and installed CM13 from TWRP. Still ended up in no simcard error.
Then I got to know about XXEMG emergency zip radio which is cross-efs compatible so I flashed that one. I ended up in NO IMEI/Baseband
I flashed XXELKC PDA file back and phone booted with its own IMEI number preserved.
Now I have working DATA connection but phone doesn't register on network for calls/sms.
What is the possible issue here?
I cannot find working modems link as the REF thread has dead link to modems.
I do not know how to fix this phone, and I've made myself a promise that this is my first and last samsung phone ever. Please help through this one for the last time, even it means working phone on a JB 4.1 firmware but I want the simcard/network/calls working to resell it and get rid of it.
Thank you for actually roaming around in Q&A section and taking a look.
Nobody?
I have X10mini from years and I adore this phone for this moment.. this is the first Android phone I have ...
I installed a modified (not genuine) software from this site, it already worked, but the WiFi stopped and the device no longer reads the sim card
When they stopped working, I installed the Sony Ericsson software on the laptop and restored the original firmware to the phone and the Wi-Fi problem was already resolved, but the problem of the sim card port is still there
Knowing that the IMEI and MAC address are studied, and the serial number is all there
Please help me to solve this problem I want to use the phone
