I've got a Xperia S here and it's rooted...
Of course I installed SetCPU and I noticed that the battery temperature is missing...
EDIT: The temperature seems to be 32°C, but the battery level is always 0 (and those numbers never change...)
So, I'm wondering if this is a bug only on my phone or do all xperias lack this sensor?
Thanks for your answers
I have it.

Either my phone's got bugs, or there are multiple models of the SXS...?

Hello there
I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S3 which has Android version 4.1.2 on it. I have read a lot about the battery consumption and how it's not that good due to the large screen and the phone's hardware capabilties and I can live with that. I also installed the GSam battery monitoring application as per recommendation, and I find that all the rates are very normal and expected, however it really pisses me off that the battery drains quite A LOT while the phone is sleeping overnight. I mean the phone was at 100% at 3 AM and then I woke up at 11 AM and it was already at 81%! I don't think that's quite normal.
3G was on, so I am not sure if that could be causing it? Also I checked GSAM and all the rates seem to be normal and nothing above the average.
I have attached two screen shots of the GSAM battery monitoring application and would like to hear your opinions regarding this if possible.
Thank you for your time.
This is normal i think, my battery is also draining. Try other rom/kernel with less mhz

its far from normal, it shouldnt drain that much!!
I'd uninstall that trial xtreme 3 app at the top of the list and see how you go...

Thanks for replying, guys.
I don't think it's normal, bms, because I used to have a HTC One X which had a MUCH worse battery but it didn't drain nearly as much in sleep mode.
Mike, I'm going to try that although I think it says that Xtreme 3 is using that percentage because I played it WHILE charging the device, but not after it was full. Not too sure, though. If that doesn't work, I might go the route of rooting the device and installing a custom ROM. I remember on the HTC One X Android Revolution and Viper were my favorites, so might go for either one if they're available for the S3 as well. Thanks again for your help.
I've found a probable cause for battery drain on Xperias, this case on the Xperia P.
I've had my Xperia P for some weeks now, and after the euphoria of using the phone for the first times i'm now making a stable use of it.
Without changing absolutely nothing on the phone, i noticed that the battery percentage dropped fast and suddently the Android SO was using more battery that the screen.
So i searched for running processes that were uncommon, and i've found one that is called Storage Capability that was using a lot of the CPU and keeping the device awake. Killed it and the phone returned to normal. A day has past and still it hasn't reappeared. So, it must be a one time thing.
Anyone experienced this?
What does this process do?
I bought this phone yesterday. I used opera and whatsapp in wifi and my battery went from 90% to 66% in 1 hour. Also standby battery drain is a lot about 10% in 2 hours. Is this normal for this phone? The battery is good i know but for me the battery is bad.
I have to send it back right? I am on 4.1.2, lastest update
Edit: BetterBatteryStats told me that:
18,2%/h. Crazy

That is normal if your have 3G/wifi on and some application prevent your phone to go to deep sleep mode. Please install CPU spy and wake lock detector to see what is the problem.
When I'm on JB 4.1.2 stock rom my battery is last for about one day with 3G/Wifi on (depend on which is available).
I got finally down to about 20% standby drain/day. Which is still too much IMO.
Biggest improvements came from the disable-wifi-in-standby Feature and from disabling Googles tracking service(not the location services).
Hello everyone
my Amazfit Pace 2 is not calculatin any calories burnt.
No matter what ROM i use (i tried 3 different ones), i always get 0 calories on my screen.
Please consider that the HR measurement works fine, i have no other issues at all.
Can anyone please help me out with this thing that is driving me nuts?
Thank you very much
Did you do any activity? As far as I know, some values are only shown after activities, like distance, etc, probably it's the case for calories as well. With only the pedometer (steps) it won't show other values. If you did an activity, can you share the screenshots?
Calories are calculated for me even without an activity.

*EDIT* sorry, i own a Stratos [emoji23]
I solved the problem.
The issue was that my weight was in jin rather than kilos.
Hi folks,
I'm presently in the process on deciding on a smartwatch - presently looking especially at the Huawei Watch GT.
As battery life is an important issue for me, I would be very interested to know which additional battery drain is to be expected from a connected smartwatch on the Mate 20 pro.
Looking forward to your comments, thanks,
Axel

Yes, I promise you that the phone has a significant and alarming drain when connected to the watch. This is even after shutting down some of the handshakes manually. You could always wear the watch and just toggle bluetooth to get around this, but... That would kind of defeat the purpose of notifications to the watch entirely. I was quite shocked at the battery drain when using the watch for the one day that I did.
