Galaxy Note II - Clockwork recovery
I flashed Omega rom today for my galaxy note 2. It uses Aroma installer which i think could be the problem. Basically I cant boot into recovery. The rom is also very laggy where people on its development thread are praising it stability! The device will stay on the 'Samsung galaxy note II gt17100' bootscreen when i try to.boot into recovery. Any ideas anyone?
do this via cmd or terminal with your phone connected
adb reboot bootloader
if it still doesn't boot reflash recovery

All you have to do is reflash the stock rom back using odin, root your device first and then install CWM. Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin along with all firmwares and drivers (check the "Preparations" section),
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
Once installed, go to recoverymod and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace,

What CWM version do you flash? Always make sure the zip you flash is for galaxy ace or the code name cooper
CWM manager need root. But, CWM recovery doesn't need root.

First download latest stock recovery, flash it via odin(it'll work). Then boot to recovery and wipe everything! Then install fresh clean stock rom. I've had that problem on my Tab 10
I got this kind of problem after i installed this rom. If i try to boot there comes only Samsung Galaxy S III i9305 on screen and then goes black. I have ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.7
this rom is for I9300 only (i think, but give us the link to the rom), in this case it can't boot on your I9305. Go to recovery and flash a proper rom for your device
I ve installed a rom on my i9100 but it has lots off bug now i cant boot into recovery or i am able to flash with odin ........ reply soon

What rom did you flash? What I get from your statement is that you can't get into recovery and you can't get into download mode, am I correct?
