Update android 4.0 sony xperia s
Anyone know if sony already released the Android 4.0 for sony xperia s because a friend of mine said it was already available for both the sony xperia s as to the arc s?! I've tried to update and says that there are no updates available.
If only there were a sticky about this...

How hard can it be to read or search before starting new threads??
CLOSED.
So basically, I've seen this on multiple forums before and hadn't seen it done on XDA yet, so I thought I would start it.
It's simple, you answer the question to the previous post, then ask your own question. The question can be about anything you want. I'll get it off to a start...
Why does android rule ?

Duh....Its because it is the best "Open Source" Mobile Operating System and all manufaturers can use it for free.(And its the best mobile OS acc to me!)
And also because you can personalise Android like hell to suit your needs.

Screens are expensive if you don't buy them apple style (millions at a time)
Question:
Why do we keep creating todo directories where we throw everything in order to organize it later and we never actually do it?

It's not available for the Morotola Backflip and Defy .
My question:
Why does Samsung's ARMv7 lineup of smartphones integrate its recovery with its kernel together in 1 boot.img ?

There are....
But a question
Many devs start a Rom,then quit that!
Would you continue with dev of this Rom of yours?
Then porting it absolutely makes sense!
No offence!

Galaxy SII (I9100) 10.8 (4.27) 480×800
Neo /Neo V 9.4 (3.7) 480×854
I see the resoultion has some differences..
So still it would be possible to Port?As OP's ROM is for S2
As i read it somewhere they'd have to be of same resolution..
Hope some kind person would answer this?

1. Will there ever be a stable ICS firmware upgrade from samsung or from dev with no bugs?
2. When BBM Comes out on android will people make it so it's compatible with Gingerbread?
3. Will S-Voice come out on gingerbread?

Hi everyone!
I need help with my Xperia U... It's out of warranty, antenna module is broken and I would like to replace it.
Antenna serial number is 1254-3458 and the only website that sells it is rounded.com ---> rounded.com/sony-xperia-u-st25i-antenna-module-antenna-cover-grey-spare-part-12543458.html
But I don't want to spend so much, I found another website ---> stellatech.com/sony-st25i-xperia-u-antenna-module-main-band-125,a,en,812828.htm
where it cost less, the only problem is that it has another serial number... They look the same but I would like to know... Is there any difference and I might face compatibility issue? Or is it basically the same thing and it should work?
Thank you
No.

No,there wont be any compability issues, its just different build date.
Be sure its not for ST25a.
