Hello. I have a question about my sc-06d. I'm not happy with the original rom and i'd like to change to the international version. Is this possible?
I have a SII japanese model and I did it and works fine. But the SIII int. version and my model are different hardwares,CPU and memory.
Only clicking in PDA on Odin doesen't work i have to click on PIT to modify. But is irreversible.

No mate,you can't use an international version rom...
If you can,swap it for an I9300...you may miss the extra 1gb ram,but you'll have a quad core cpu and great dev support!

The Model SC-06D is listed in the link provided, it just doesn't have its own dev section on XDA. the whole purpose of the link was to stop people from flashing the wrong ROM.

Dont download the firmware in that tutorial on the first post !!! the boot logo is from a Russian operator !!! You have been warned !!
I'm downloading now the Luxembourg version to see if there are no operator stuff..... And then root it !!

Its a minor update only bugs solved. No premium features. I guess it will be a next big update the one we're waiting.

Hardware buttons dont work with XXAMA1. Back to XXALL2.

Hardware buttons dont work ONLY during the initial setup and they come back on if I turn off and on the screen.

Dude,no stock based..roms are good..nor cm roms are full of bugs,but galaxy y though low end has good devs.Its a shame galaxy y roms are ported to ace though ace is a high end device

but galaxy y roms are based on stock roms. We also have no stable CM. BTW better search before posting. You can find your answer by searching

i got friend using galaxy Y and its already CM 10 running with 4.0~4.1 ICS~
does i need was there like working SIM readable and SIM Tollkit and it has sim save or edit on it
anyway whats that stock rom base?
ive been looking anywhere just to have does sim show contact and working sim tollkit.
i try many or CM but non of does working
what should be my problem? is it my baseband is S5830XWKT7 or kardel?
im running froyo 2.2 then i upgrade it to gingerbread 2.3.6 before then i install CM 9. i read the specs
there was sim tollkit but when i use. it said "in proper format to be process"
just im trying to buddy balance but not working... >_<
is it im wrong using android version? kies,firmware?baseband? so thats why isnt working?

not really banned, Hyperion is not banned. Carl just asked the mood to lock it. But the 7.x version was banned because of him including root explorer.

All we remember that Sony sertified new GB stock 4.0.2.A.0.84 at December 2012. It coming to us!
Here:
1) Original firmware (vodafone customized) downloaded for me by the_laser (in *.SIN format):
yandex.disk, mediafire.com
this is two files 15 MB and 169 MB.
2) flashable *.FTF file compiled by Intuki: yandex.disk
(bloatware not removed, this is full vodafone untouched stock).
3) repack4pda .84 rom by our great frend wway: <-- our choice
without gapps: yandex.disk, dev-host
4) repack4pda .84 with gapps: yandex.disk
wway remove about 70 bloatware apks.
5) baseband 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-86 (thanks to Intuki): yandex.disk, dev-host.
use this rom free and say thanks for our guys! (I only post this message)
ps. what kernel? use your everyday kernel for GB.
oh yes, with this rom comes new baseband, .86.
pps. if yandex.disk not good for you, please re-upload to any other servers and give me a link I include it here.

Now waiting for all the current GB-based custom ROMs to move to this ROM as a base!
The most great part of this new .84 ROM is the new keyboard!!! GB keyboard here finally got dot and comma near the space key!
Missing comma nad dot on the all keyboards in GB-based ROMs was a real disadvantage vs. the ICS ROMs. Now it's rectified!

Yes, it has some bloatware like UEFA website links, etc.
If you take the Repak version - it's pretty clean of everything non related to the system itself.

I use the new fancy lupus GB kernel at the moment , which works great.
Cannot tell about battery drain yet, but the kernel has lots of governors to play with. Furthermore i added the repack4pda V7 (old) toggle bar.
If i have the time then I will make a new illuminative GB rom from this one for now, i just use this one as it is.
