An Official update is available for Xperia Sola from Sony Mobile website but when I connect my phone to update it
it says that my phone is up to date I had try it using Sony PC Companion (of course using USB cable ), through out mobile itself, and through out the website and nothing help ??
New official update available is 6.1.1.B.1.10 Release date: 2012-09-28
my current software version is 6.0.B.3.184

AFAIK, this 23.0.1.A.4.30 update has been released only for Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact (SGP6xx)
I've downloaded it but I'm a bit afraid to try on my Z2 Tablet as PC Companion does not notify me about this update...

Yes, you are right it is probably the same 4.4.4 update as Z3.
Well, that means Xperia Z2 Tablet Japanese firmware went straight from 4.4.2 to this second 4.4.4 update, skipping the 23.0.1.A.0.167 update.

if you search in the general section of the forum, you will see that sony has released the update only for nordic and baltic regions till now. No other parts of the world received the update.
According to the official Sony Taiwan account on Facebook, it seems the Z2a will get lollipop. Just have to be patient. More patient...
