You haven't specified what backgrounds you mean exactly (static/dynamic (live)), so I took it as static = I answered "no", because actually it's not possible.
So before you decide to offend someone, think over a few times.
TheHawk002's suggestion is about live wallpapers.

What I think is possible... Just use Photoshop...
Create a new document of around 1200x3000 pixels.
Take your backgrounds, and resize them to fit the document.
Then save it as '.png', and set it as your background!

I don't think so. Galaxy S initially didn't have this feature. Later Samsung gave this with their recent value pack update. S3 supports this as well

lol crt animation is the screen off animation, like tv turning off. in gb you will get that animation but in ics sony removed it

This app don't need root permission... Crt works only if we lock through widget..:\
