I'm new here, so I hope I didn't start an unnecesary thread.. (didn't find one regarding my problem/question)
I now have a Huawei shine pro, coming from an HTC one V
On the HTC I could choose from when the mail needed to be retrieved (hours to be determined)
---> I thinks this is HTC's sense skin as I can't find it on my new devise (Vanilla Android 4.0.4)
does anyone know of an app/rom that offers the same possibillities?

Hi you guys.
I finally took the step to order me an Android-based-phone, and after days with reading on the internet I decided to buy a HTC Hero. Everyone was "splurgeing" this phone up in the skies.
I hope my choice wasn't a bad one?! (Actually I think Motorola Droid is a great phone, but it wont be available in Norway tho )
As i have understood the Android 2.0 ROM will be available for HTC Hero trough HTC soon. Anyone know the date(s)? I live in Norway, but have bought the English version.
Is there any other Custom ROMs that will be interesting to try out? If yes - which one?
Im also wondering;
- Is the email function good? Does it support HTML-mail, IMAP and other email-accounts than GMail?
- Is there any equal app to MyPhone? (sync app)
- MSN messenger client?
- Is it possible to use the phone without HTC Sense? (but I think i wouldn't)

I installed a new ROM on my New Unlocked T-Mobile HTC HD2 and I installed a medical application called UpToDate which worked fine on other HTC HD2 devices but on mine the application worked and when I am searching for one medical subject and opening it the application gives me a white page with No DATA!!
I think that the problem with the browser used by this application

Before Mango update i got installed on my HTC Mozart attentive phone app, after update i can't find it. There is no such app anywhere . Is the problem at my phone or it is not only me ?

If HTC Mozart attentive phone app is the app that ive you the opportunity to modify the way that the phone ring (hiher level if its in the pocket...), i think that you will find that under "parameters" (for me it's the last entry).

I'm trying to help out my Mom with her new HTC Desire HD. She likes Sense overall and wants to keep it, but she saw my EVO 3D running MIUI and absolutely loved the calendar app, with the different settings and the overall feel of it.
Is there any app that I could install on her HTC Desire HD (not rooted, S-ON) that would do this? (One of the most important features is the ability to set custom ringtones for appointments in the calendar)

well for a calendar try to install Business calendar.....my brother use this very often...I don't know if you can have different ringtones for notifications but you can give it a try.....btw it's free!!

Hi everyone,
I know my question may not interest most of you, and i've been looking myself for an answer for hours on Google, but I can't find anything.
I own a Galaxy Nexus on a Stock Rom 4.2.1, and 'im not able anymore to create a Contact on the Phone or on the Sim card.
I've checked on another Nexus which has the same behaviour.
But on every other phones I've checked which are on android 4.1 (Htc One X and some other), the functionality is still available.
Do you know if Google removed on Android 4.2.1 and upper versions the ability of adding a Contact directly to the phone (I only have my Gmail accounts that are purposed as a Source for the Contact when I try to add a new one) ?
And if they did, is there any place/website/official article which is talking about it?
