Phone wont charge - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Updated to polish jelly bean now my phone won't charge will I flash back?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app

I would suggest to completely wipe all data, cache and dalvik and flash. If this fails flash a stock Rom and then flash the polish Rom. Hopefully this will solve it.

As what the dude above me said ↑
Also, i know it may sound silly but you may also try cleaning your phone'a usb port, it may be dirty.. or check your charger if it has something at fault. Or if you charge with the USB cable, check if it is okay and not broken

stop double pressing the home button. also are you running stock or a rom. Kernel perhaps?
I'm running mystic32 4.1 ROM with siyah kernal latest release.

revert back to stock or try a different Rom, see if it still happens. Things like this could be rom / kernel related.
I have changed my rom and kernal and it still comes up now and then. Anyway to remove it.

This is related to the "Charging Paused Voltage too high" issue which can mean either a faulty usb port or simply dirt on the contacts. Read up on that search phrase for more info.
I'm having the same problem. Both car mode and the desk clock keep opening. Using wanamlite 12.0 both Neak kernel and stock lpg kernel. Just started happening yesterday. Flashing reflashing and wiping have had no effect

I just tried cleaning out the micro USB port with a soft toothbrush and it seemed to do the trick. Cleaned all the other connections too. I think some pocket lint or something had jammed up the port

How I solved the problem was to use titanium and uninstall the clock lol.

Flashing time it is.
Sorry for doublepost. When rooting phone i lost warranty right ? So what if i unrooted it and installed a stock rom ? I did that with my previous phone the s8500 wave that ran bada and it was accepted in the shop for repairing.
Would that be an option? And is there a tutorial on how to restore the gs2 to stock?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
you got that right. Make it "out of the box" like and they won't notice it.
Now the question is how i do that... i'll google the crap out of this but if someone can give directions all help is welcome.
Thak you.

[SOLVED]Headphone socket problem

Hey guys.
My phone can't play songs via headphones - there's no sound coming from the right side. I've already cleaned the socket and the problem persists so it isn't in the headphones.
Does anyone else running cm-10.1-20130504-NIGHTLY have this problem?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Have you tried restoring back to the previous rom you had? If the problem follows, its hardware or data. If not its rom or data.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
Wiped data and flashed 20130501-NIGHTLY, the problem is still there.

If it wasn't there on that ROM version before, then it's hardware. Possible a loose connection in the socket or fluff,. have anotehr look inside if you can. Otherwise, reflash stock and send for repair.
The problem's in the hardware, tried moving the plug and sound was coming temporarily from both sides. Taking the phone to repair so thanks for help and whatnot.

Try wiping everything again with a wiped sdcard as well if you haven't already.
Meaning completely format and wipe the entire card. Ie pictures documents etc.?
