I was wondering if anyone knew if and unclocked Galaxy S2 or any smartphone for that matter would work on South Africa's GSM provider MTN?

You should ask in the forum for the Sprint Galaxy S2. (which is also called the Epic 4G Touch - aka SPH-D710)
This forum is for the GT-i9100, which is a GSM phone, and doesn't work on Sprint's CDMA network at all.
Hey guys ive been looking for a while now for some development on the Bell Mobility version of the SGS3 but cant seem to find any. Is there anything out there and can you guys point me in the right direction? thanks!
I would think anything that works on the "AT&T Samsung GS III - I747" would work on the "Bell Samsung GS III - I747m". I don't think there is any difference besides the modems. I even used the "AT&T Samsung GS III - I747" root method on my brothers "Virgin Samsung GS III - I747m"(same as BELL) with no problem.
you can find the I747 stuff herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1633

Hi
I have in my possession a Brand new galaxy s3 from SKT in Korea.
I have tried putting in my ATT gsm card and calling and txting works but cannot update nor navigate.
Is there anything i can do to fully use it with ATT?
(this is the quad core galaxy with the antenna)
You have to unlock it. Find one online. Then change the apn settings. To AT&T.
