Hi guys,
is there any way someone could make a convert mod, or converted ROM for the HTC Desire X?
'Cause the HTC Sense version is 4.0(lite), and i really want it to be the full sense 4, so please, someone make it.

The full sense 4 port is possible by me. But u can't even mount /system......

If someone can build it properly or port TWRP over, then that would be fine. I don't know how to build recoveries.
So if someone makes it, I can rely on you that you'll do it? 'Cause I really want the full sense

theres no "converter"
there would be either a full sense rom ported, or someone hacking up your stock rom with sense 4 features
its not *that* hard...but thats a relative term, cuz someone with the knowledge still has to do it
Oh okay, sorry, i've read somewhere that someone made a full sense converter for One V, so i thought someone could make it for the DX.
And yeah, i know it isn't easy to make it, but i'd really appreciate it if somone made it.:thumbup:

yeah i ported a one v one but i accidentally ported the CDMA one so nothing worked haha.

based it on a sense 4 rom. but because the android version is the same you should be able to port from a sense 3.6 ruu

Slurp haven't even downloaded the ruu let alone ported it lol
Update: Downloaded the ruu, now I am trying to open it.
New update: got the ROM.zip after half an hour trying to find it
Its telling me that system.img is corrupt, as well as everything else in the ROM.zip
Life sucks atm.

Desire X is in the middle. RUU or download was corrupt I think anyway
Its sense 4.1 and is halfway between the One X and One V experience, which I think is a good mix of features that is not too heavy
Waiting for the download complete,learning to port the rom now,looks like the Desire X is the same resolution and inch with ours,no need to resize:good:

Root now. It's pretty safe (I mean, nothing is 100% certain) but so long as you follow directions, you'll be fine. Use this toolkit and you should be good.

Rooting works just fine...just DL the all in one kit, follow the instructions and you be unlocked n rooted in no time.

Yep, works perfectly for my ATT One X+.
Just unlock bootloader, flash TWRP, flash SuperSU, and make sure the phone is well charged beforehand!
(I just bricked my phone yesterday)

Im assuming you have ATT.
Upon rooting, make sure to stay away from anything that says INTERNATIONAL. If it does not state, make sure to check the posts in the thread, or post yourself to see if its for ATT or INTERNATIONAL. Most of the development in this subforum is for the INTERNATIONAL HOX+ so be aware and be cautious.
Other then that. Rooting is simple and not dangerous at all. Toolkit works perfect, MAKE SURE TO FLASH ATT TWRP RECOVERY

What exactly does the unlocked bootloader do? I'm pretty much a noob right now. still learning but right now i'm a hardcore noob lol. I'm gonna go on HTCdev.com to unlock my bootloader now.

Hi everyone...
I got a problem with my HTC One X +.
I'm from the Netherlands and wanted to play Generation of Chaos on my HTC.
But i coulnt play it because the HTC needed it to be rooted.
So from here it all started.
I started to try and do All-In-One Kit 2.1 But i coulnt get a token or something...
Well so i went on and got the ROOTBOOTV5.
I tried to install it but it failled to find my phone.
So i gave up... But when i starting to use my phone again i saw that the wi-fi coulnt go on anymore.
I resetted it to the factory settings and then my phone got stuck @ starting screen ( HTC quietly brilliant)
If i want to hard reset it my phone goes to Team Win Recovery Project...
Also it cant detect my phone with usb on Hboot it says:
Failed to open usb master mode..
Please help me out guys!
Im a noob @ this stuff so thats why its bricked...
Also my English isnt that great.

Um.... The play store's description for tthis game says there ARE issues with rooted devices, NOT that you HAVE to be rooted.

Ok, so this game (Mass effect infiltrators) comes preinstalled on stock HOX+ Roms for free. I decided to flash ViperXL+, and was wondering if it was still legal to post/find a Download link for this app on xda? I already purchased the phone, so shouldn't it make sense I could have it on any Rom I wanted? Or is it possible to pull it from a stock Rom? Any help is appreciated

You can pull the .apk from a stock rom and install it on a custom one. But posting a link to the .apk would be illegal.

I believe what is factory installed is only a demo. For me, I was prompted to purchase the full version. I could be mistaken on this though. But if I am correct then with out a doubt posting the full version anywhere would be illegal.

It is a full version on my ATT onex+. To the OP, i'm no pro at this, but if you backed up your stock rom then you should have the apk backed up in there somewhere, i would think. I would do some searching in the backup file and see if you can extract the apk from there and re-install it.
Full verson where?! I have the att hox+ and it did not come with a full version. They wouldn't be that nice.

Have an HTC One coming next week and the idea of being able to replace it with stock Android makes it potentially much sweeter. I love the Nexus 4 performance and it does everything I want but I can't get over how nice the One is every time I hold it so I had to pick one up to try it out as my daily driver. Had a One X awhile back running Viper ROM which was very nice so I would imagine I can just run with the stock Sense until stock Android is available. Saves me from buying the Googled version of the One if HTC will be providing an update.
I could never give up Highlights & Zoe.
I'm fine with Sense. Just need root and I can do whatever I need.
