Me and DevStaff are the leadear and the member in TeamOpti.
He is the guy who will answer almost all of your questions and who will be my tester for locked bootloaders so you guys have a tested rom in both ways.
And let me introduce myself - I am the developer of this rom and I will also answer your questions when I have time. We are both 14 years old and we both go to school so keep in mind that we cant spent all of our time in xda.

For Locked Bootloaders:
1.Put the rom on SD Card
2.Reboot to recovery
3.Do a factory reset
4.Go to mounts and storage and format system
5.Flash the rom
6.Reboot
7.Use THIS guide to unlock Init.D adn be faster and smoother
For Unlocked Bootloaders:
1.Put the rom on SD Card
2.Reboot recovery
3.Flash the rom
4.Reboot till you see lockscreen
5.Reboot one again to get Wi Fi working(sirkay's kernel)
Custom Settings:
Settings>Security>AOSP Lock toggle
Settings>Developer Options>Terminal
Settings>Developer Options>Kill app via long-press
Settings>Display>OnScreenButtons
Settings>QuickPanel(change widgets in statusbar(expect tabbed)
Settings>Ram Manager
(Use Balanced and Set on boot options for best resaults. If you want you can also lock launcher if you have many apps)

Flashing it now First attempt wasn't successful, I got a bootloop. Hoping it goes well this time.

I've posts some bugs on tracker, i hhope they help in next release. :fingers-crossed:
Before flashing optimax i've flashed 587 stock firmware, then i've flashed sirkay kernel .587c, then go in CWM and do factory reset,full wipe and format system, then i've flashed the rom with customization that i like (GX home, nxt fonts, nxt customization, timescape).
I've restored my app with titanium backup.
I think i've done all good, but i've found the bug that i've list on tracker.
For now i came back to your fantastic jellysandwich 6.2.1
