Could you point me in the direction of what you did to solve your problem? I have the same problem and don't feel like a full re-install if what you did was a lot easier and quicker.

So the official release has the battery bug? Lolol if that's true. If its not true... then there are at least some differences right?
DK
I would really like to know how to do this. I am running the leaked one and have the battery bug as well as my front facing camera no longer works. It glitches out and then takes green pictures. I have no idea what Pudding or Sbf means so if someone would like to help out I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks

If you have no idea what these things mean, you should stay with stock Moto updates/upgrades, and leave everything else alone.
I am on a leaked 4.5.91 and have no issues with the front facing camera.
Strangely, after wiping battery stats twice, and calibrating the battery, I have no battery issues.
Bump, would someone like to help?

There's nothing to help because they are EXACTLY the same. If anything just reflash what you already have and try wiping data/cache/davlik. That's basically the same as updating OTA.
Hey guys!
I recently started using Cozmo1's coZ rom and its great so far but I'm having a few issues.
This is the link to his rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337437
I would post this question the ROM page itself but it seems I cant because I'm a new member.
Anyways my problem has to do with data connectivity.
Very often, my phone simple doesn't have any reception bars and results in the ( / ) circle that indicates no reception.
The only way to fix this for me to is to toggle airplane mode on and off and after a minute or so it reenables.
The times I do have a consistent reception, after around 5 minutes of being idle, the data connection turns off completely. I thought this was
some kind of battery saving feature that automatically enables when I need to use data but the only way to get data is to toggle airplane mode on and off again.
This is giving me some serious issues as missing calls because of the ( / ) reception or extremely delayed text messages.
Also when I'm driving and need some quick directions, I can't use voice command to put in the address as this requires connectivity.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Try wiping cache and dalvik cache in cwm. Also try fixing permissions in cwm if that doesn't work.

I'll throw you a bone... Sort of. Read the following threads (multiple times if you don't fully understand), then ask any questions you may still have. I'm not being rude, I'm being helpful. I still have lots of questions... I read a lot! Don't forget to read the links inside these threads!

Then this
As for your modem question: Basically, it controls you're connectivity to data, gps and, I believe, wifi. (please correct if wrong)
There is a thread (Google search: Modem i777 xda) you can find with different modems and a nap that might help you find which is likely to be the best for your area.

So would you guys say the answer to my problem is getting a new modem?
Did flashing the coZ rom somehow install a new modem over the stock one and start causing problems?
Actually according to the rom thread ( I know, who actually reads those?), it says it comes packaged with the stock modem.

Well if that's the case messing with the modem wouldn't really solve anything would it?
Appreciate all the help so far guys! Still waiting for a working solution though :fingers-crossed:

Just flashed it good sir and it seemed like it would work!
While using it though it randomly went to the ( / ) symbol and all data and connectivity was lost.
Had to toggle airplane mode for it to reenable
Some more suggestions would be nice peeps! :fingers-crossed:
It seems to have gotten kinda worse after the new modem. I have to restart my phone to reenable data connectivity now
Back up all your important info, reboot into cwm recovery, go to mounts/ storage, wipe the /system, data, cache partitions. Go back one screen , go to advanced, wipe dalvik. Then reinstall the ROM. If it fixes it, then yer good. If not its either a hardware issue or a ROM issue.

Did as you said. The problem persists. I guess it's the ROM
Seems that recently the LEDs for the flash and what are also used for the flashlight are no longer operating on my husbands phone. I've tried wiping and reflashing JellyBlur v1.3 and trying various applications - but it seems that this doesn't help and that those LEDs just don't want to come on. Is there something that I can do to fix this or are they out for good?
I'm also running JellyBlur v1.3 on my phone and my flash/flashlight are working fine. While I'm waiting I'm going to try flashing another ROM to see if that solves the problem, but any tips or helpful posts are greatly appreciated. Thank You. :good:
Update It seems that switching ROMs didn't help it either. The flash still doesn't want to work nor does any flashlight application including stock. Not sure what happened, but hopefully someone can suggest a fix. (Could it be kernel or something similar related?)
- Tried reflashing JellyBlur v1.3 and Skyraider Zeus v1.3

Do you think flashing that might fix the flash issue? I've never encountered this problem before on our phones so it's new to me.
I would definitely make a backup of what you have now, do a good/clean wipe and install a nandroid backup from a different ROM in which the flash was working to see if the flash will work for you again.
If not, the flash may have just given up on you. =\
Note: Clear data 3x, cache once, and dalvik once. (I always recommend clearing data at least 3x because data doesn't always clear within the first or even second time around)

Yep, tried doing super wipe then cache/dalvik... doesn't work on any of the ROMs I have tried. I guess the flash just went out on his phone. *sad pandas*
I guess he will just have to do for now until I can buy him a new phone. :crying:

Yeah, that sucks!
I know you can buy the replacement parts for the flash, but you can't find directions on how to repair it anywhere.

I think it would be a difficult repair and some soldering would definitely be necessary.

Good news. I was able to put ICS (Liquid Desensed36) and applied the new combo radio someone developed.
Using the Wi-Fi w/ root from play store using generic ics/jb (wlan0), channel 2, password protected, with router fix was able to fix his Wi-Fi tether.
Also the ICS Liquid Desenesed36 fixed his Flash and flashlight! (Don't know how; I don't question it) :good::good::good::good::good:
I have tried this on multiple ROMs and have done several complete wipes to try and fix this issue. The issue is during a phone call i sound as though I am very far away. Since this issue occurs on different ROMs, (Paranoid, CM10, MeanBean) i feel as though it may be a hardware issue with the phone itself is probably not fixable by me. Has anyone else experienced this before?
I am experiencing the same thing, every person I talk to on phone says the same thing.
Called sprint, but no help??
I wonder if flashing stock rom, updating radios, and flashing back to custom rom would help.
Anyone?

I had this problem too when I ran JellyBam 4.1.0 . So one day I cleared internal storage(which I regret), factory reset and system. I installed JellyBam 4.1.0 again and the call quality was much better than before. Word of caution:be very, very careful before you delete your internal storage. The nandroid backups for me didn't back that up...

Have you tried activating the HAC call option in the dialer settings ?? Also you can try to raise the volume threw qpst as well. Don't know if it will solve your issue but its something to give a shot.

I have question my phone keeps rebooting at random times I can't find the root of the problem. I even refresh my Rom but I don't think it is the Rom. So to start the process what should I look for to find the cause of the problem?

I've had a couple here and there, not sure why, I do know the phone is touchy (kernel settings, mods, tweaks, etc.) i.e. lots of things seem to set it off, wrong v4a, wrong atmos setup, nearly all kernel tweaks. They all have possibilities of causing reboots, my suggestion would be to do a clean install, and slowly add your stuff back. Check it out every few, and if you have a problem, you can narrow it down.
