[Q] NFC App recommendation - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Is there any nfc app that u guys can recommend for sgs3? I tried any tag and tag writer. I don't know any other.

NFC ReTag in conjunction with Tasker works well for me.

For any successful transaction, These NFC chips should be present for the device: One..Which should be built-in chip in NFC device and Second.. works as a intermediate layer - as a bridge - called NFC tag which has the details of our bank account, and hence binds/filters details of NFC for better security purpose.
The site which you linked, is missing to provide hell lot of info. Besides, where an iPhone has MicroSD card slot?

[Q] How to format a non-writable NFC?

Hi guys¡
Using the NFC Task Launcher, I just marked an original SmartTags from SONY to "read only tag" and now I can´t rewrite or erase it.
Someone knows how to solve this issue? Can be rewritable again?

You can't!
Once the write-protect bit is set, one little fuse is burnt inside the tag that protect the chip from writing.
You can solve this by buying new tag.

Quote from that thread:
--> Reads the ID of the (write protected) NFC tag and connects theses tags via a app internal database to various functions (e.g. Toggle Wlan/ Bluetooth, launch installed apps, trigger TASKER tasks, start navigation, set ringer mode ,browser etc.
Doesn't say rewrite.

Samsung app after slim bean install??

Hey all. I was just wondering if its possible to still be able to download and use Samsung apps such as Samsung Link, watch on, etc. I love love the Slim Bean ROM but I also really enjoyed the WatchOn app. I have the APKs, but it just says "app not installed" every time I try to install it. When I try to download something Samsung related from the Play store, it says that my device isn't compatible with that version. Can anyone help me out with this or at least tell me of another way that I can utilize the IR on my phone. Thank you.

That doesn't utilize the IR. My TV isn't a smart TV. Do you know of anything that uses the IR on the s4?

IR currently does not work on AOSP ROMs, and more than likely wont any time soon. The code for IR is proprietary and wont be released. It will take someone to reverse engineer code to get this up and running.
@ OP nice choice of ROM

Thank you I love the slim bean ROM. So just to clarify, even if I get the smart remote app, I won't be able to use it?
