If I remember correctly you will have to replace the entire back cover of the phone... which involves removing 6 screws... one of which voids your warranty... so I don't think there's anything to be done

Alright my sister got a sgs2 about 2 months ago, now I went to help her with something (because I have an sgs2 too and she's bloody unless with it), I noticed a scratch on the screen, its only small and isn't very deep but it annoys me the fact that she bought this phone and now she's bloody scratched it! Will she be able to get the screen fixed or replaced or something for free? It isn't bothering her son doubt she'll pay. Cheers.

Can you see the scratch when using the phone or just when you literally search it?
If you have to search it, then I have good news for you.
I have the same and fixed it with a screen-protector. You won't be able to see the scratch anymore.

If it's just a hairline then buy a decent screen protector and it won't show. Worked for me.

Hey guys, few days ago i noticed something odd about the touch screen..
The bottom - left corner of the screen is "out" so i can feel it with my finger (and if you look on the side of the phone you can see that the corner comes out a bit) and the right side of the screen goes goes in, like its crooked.
how can i correct this ?
Take it back to the shop.

I need through drive 2 cities for that plus i am running the Austrailian ftf while i live in Israel...anyway to do it by myself ?
It sounds like a manufacturer defect, so it needs to go back, its easy enough to revert to original firmware.
Diy would most likely involve opening up the phone which will void your warranty.

I was trying to remove the cover quickly and I by accident removed a metal contact, as it shows on the pic. anybody knows what is that for? just for NFC? I tried to search online but found not much info on this.
thanks.

I don't think it's for NFC. I believe the one on the bottom left is for NFC. Might be wifi or something else.
I still have the metal contact, does anybody know how I can put it back? Or may be take it to a sprint store to get it fix? But I dont have insurance though.
I haven't notice any problems anyway.
Thanks for any help.

It looks like the NFC antenna. Shouldn't be much of a issue. Everything should work just fine. If you're signal goes weak or can't get lte then have it fixed it shouldn't be too hard. I could fix it at work in 5 mins.

soldering is the only way to fix this i guess right? Well if I see any future problems, I think is going to be a nice way to start learning how to solder lol.

Yes but you need a heat gun. A special heat gun or take your phone apart not something to learn on. If you can't surface mount solder already don't try you will do more damage then good. I wouldn't touch some else's phone much less mine to solder that contact. It's in a tricky and hard place to solder. I've been soldering on surface mount for 7 years and don't know if I could do it.

Hello everyone
I didn't have screen guard installed but only the protective covering. Now it is scratched a lot and I wanna change it. Can I simply remove it and then install a new screen guard? And do non-stickey screen guards come for our phone? Even with least amount of sweat, screen gets sticky and its impossible to move finger over it. Any suggestions?
By non sticky I meant kinda ones we have on s3 and iphones
Yeah, You can simply remove it. Xperia x10 has something like plastic screen, so it will always be sticky and will stop responding with water on it

Dont we have some non sticky screen guard? I asked some people but they said no...
I never changed that but I think there's no non sticky protection for our screens. Even on my sgs2 it's still sticky

It becomes very annoying if you are playing game without ac in summers when screen starts sticking. I am a hardcore gamer and whenever ibsit for gaming, 2 hours easily pass
Buy iGloves
Nah, I'm just joking, You can't do anything. Maybe there's some special screen protection without this effect but I don't know. If Google doesn't help You then nothing can
