That doesn't help me. I want a stock ROM. There must be a way to remove it if I'm rooted, but I don't know where it's located or what it's called.
Anyone?

Are you talking about the boot screen or the loading screen? I run a stock rom and get a stock loading screen, but before that I still get an annoying Chinese providers boot logo.

Well, yes, but mine is the stupid 3.uk.co logo. I never had it before on any of the previous ROMs because I always flashed unbranded, but now I have it. I tried flashing a custom kernel (Siyah) because I thought it would be removed, but it wasn't. It's still there and it's hideous. Pure white ugliness.
Somebody's gotta' know how to kill it with fire.
Please?

So it is the initial screen before the samsung loading screen?
I have been looking, and so far no one is able/willing to assist.

Yes, the splash is right after the I9300 Samsung splash.
Loathsome ugliness. A pure white splash.

Well, idk if that's possible really.. i was on a korean s3 before and it used to flash the SKT bootscreen.. i got it out by rooting it and flashing a custom rom

Thanks! That did it, but now I have no startup or shutdown animation. I tried a custom one from the thread here, but it didn't work.
Does anyone have the stock samsung startup and shutdown animations they could post?

pull a stock one from any other rom??

I was hoping to not have to do that. Is there something I can flash through cmw?

Try flashing a stock kernel .
Complete lack of information as to what rom used does not help.
QUESTIONS rules say post in Q&A .

I got this before to, searched for the error on Google and found myself a fix. There is an app on play store that let's you chose your own boot screen.. So I just downloaded that original **** and chose that fick in that tard app

download the application called SGS2 Bootlogo changer by hellcat
Then next go to siyah site Download the kernel 3.2.1 or newer
as the changelog states ::
re-enabled j4fs and mounting of lfs partition (hellcat’s boot logo changer worked, even if it stuck with “working” popup, but it could successfully set my cat’s photo as a boot logo
so now you can change bootlogo i done mine so it works fine thats only if your on ics but your post dosent state what your using so only guessing your on ics lol.

Big problem flashing official roms

Hi all,
I am trying to return my GS2 to stock as I have sold it. But when I flash official roms it will not boot. I get as far as the Samsung boot animation, it plays the little jingle but doesn't get any further than that.
I've tried flashing these 2 roms using odin 1.85
I9100XWLPD_I9100OXXLPJ_DNF
I9100XWLP7_I9100XEULP5_XEU
They both do the same thing.
Any tips here or ideas where I am going wrong?
Try going back into recovery and do a full wipe. Should boot after that.

[Q] Stock Boot Animations?

Does anyone know where i could find the Stock Boot Animations for the different carriers and the generic Samsung one from the international Note 2?
I am looking for the ones in bootanimation.zip format for a deodex ROM.
Also, is there any way to get sound working on custom animations?
Thanks for any help.
Anyone?

Look in the full stock ROMs for those different phones and pull the boot animations out.

The Boot Animations from the stock RoMs are in the stock format, not flashable .zip. I do not know how to convert them.

Changing Boot-Loader Splash Image ?

Hi Guys...
I was wondering Is there any way to change BootLoader image ? (The image which shows before Bootscreen ?)
I think i would have to flash a boot loader with a modified animation in order to customize it.
Can anyone help me with this ?
No, the bootloader is encrypted and can't be modified.
Image might be on kernel i think
Try decompile kernel and search rle images i think u can change there
Offtopic in non abuse way: *from your photo u look beautifull

Not an obvious title:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2418316
Image is not in the kernel by the way. Siyah kernel puts a boot splash on but this actuallty inserts between the actual boot splash and the boot animation, to give time to boot into 2nd rom. Nothing to do with the actual boot splash and does not replace it.

Edit..not sure on that as i posted with a wrong answer before, i thought if you go back to stock recovery the lines would not show, but on the kernel i am not sure.
No. Will not show. Will not show even if you root your phone. Just flash the stock boot.img.
