I'm replacing some system/app files to make my Gadmei E8-HD appear as close to stock as possible and I've found only 4.0.4 stock builds for Galaxy Nexus avaliable.
However, because my device is a tablet not a handset, will it still "work"?
If not, does anyone conveniently have ICS 4.0.4 compiled for a tablet and can share with me their SystemUI.apk?
Thanks.

I have searched everywhere, but have not been lucky to find whether it would be possible to port the ICS 4.0.4 Galaxy S2 dialer (phone) and (Contact) APK . to be able to run on the same devise but with CM9 ICS 4.0.4! can we port it ?

Hello,
I'm running the latest JB Beta on my Huawei Ascend P1, I've came from Cyanogenmod ROMs which are based around the stock feel which I love. Just wondering if it's possible to replace a few system apps so I can get the stock dialer and contacts?
I'm thinking I'd have to replace the Huawei themed files named:
'ContactsEx'
'ContactsStorage'
'Dialer'
with the stock JB ones named
'Contacts'
'ContactsStorage'
'Dialer'
Could I simply pull the apps from Jelly Bean and push them to system and overwrite the original files?
Cheers!
