Sync Browser Bookmarks - SOLVED - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hi there... I dont think I have seen this in the tf201 forums so here goes... It annoyed me that JB stopped synchronizing bookmarks to the default browser (Not Chrome). Found this on the tf700 forums and confirm it works for tf201. My browser is now in sync!
Big up to sbdags for the post! Quote: It's the Google chrome sync app that was included in ics. It works fine in jb and as you have found it wasn't included for some strange reason.

You are welcome

Awesome post, just tried this on my tf300t and it works!
Thanks

Well I think I was a bit premature, it works but only half of my bookmarks have synced

Fixed it now, I just deleted chrome data from Google dashboard and re synced and all is hunky dory again

Cool. Is this on the tf300 forum? In the sprit of sharing, if its not, why not stick it up in there too? Might help a few tf300 users out.

I don't think it is, will post it soon

Thanks. I found many otherwise ways, but knew there had to bean an easierway.

Hi, thanks for sharing the link, downloaded it and installed it on my device but when I go to Google Bookmarks, the bookmarks from the device don't appear. Am I supposed to do something on the device to turn this on?

Youtube app stopped working.

Has your youtube apps stopped working? Perhaps I did something. I installed system tuner pro and ics+ browser. But didn't change anything that would get youtube app to stop working. Any help would be appreciated thanks

If that's the case, are you rooted? If so try downloading YouTube.apk off of somewhere then replace the one in system/app with the one you downloaded.
Thanks man, couldn't find a download to replace so I uninstalled it with system tuner pro and then downloaded it from the play store and its now working fine. Should have tried that first lol. Thanks again for the help.
Odd that it stopped working though.

Sirius XM app on Prime! Yay!

Has anyone been able to get the Sirius XM app working on their prime? With the apk from another thread on XDA, mine just sits there on the update screen. :'(
EDIT: See THIS post for another way to stream and listen in the background.
EDIT: See this post for the apk to download. Thanks to all helping and tracking this thread! Be sure to thank joeyddr! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25532080

Yeah, I've read that before. It was far less helpful than a thread on Androidforums. Someone there had it working on their Galaxy Tab with ICS.
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201
It works fine on my Galaxy Nexus *cough* BABABOOEY *cough* but not on any of my tablets. You would think because the Galaxy Nexus has ICS that it would work on the Prime

IMEI
The Sirius app needs to be able to read an IMEI number to work and because we are on a tablet and not a phone, there isn't one. I ran into the same problem with my GTablet and ran a patch on the ROM I was running to add the IMEI. Sirius then worked great, along with HBO Go. Hopefully someone much smarter than me can figure out how to patch an IMEI number into the prime. Here is the thread were I got the patch:

Interesting. I wonder if that means this app could get working by similar means those required to get Whatsapp going on here. Have you tried backing up to Titanium on phone and Restored on the Prime? I might try that this weekend.

Having this app on my tablet would so make my day. I'd probably listen twice as much, too.

Well, yay!
I am now streaming SiriusXM to my tablet in the background without the app. FINALLY! THIS IS SO AWESOME!
I'm using XMTuner (there are several different PC applications like this you could use) in conjunction with TVersity.
XMTuner is a dual purpose PC app that is a non-browser tuner as well as a server for linking the channel feeds to uPnP. TVersity (Pro) serves local media and streams (it treats the Sirius XM feed as an RSS feed).
I'm playing the channels on my Prime using Skipta which can be minimized to the taskbar. uPnPlay can also be used (as I've used it for years), but it seems to be slower loading the DLNA server locations.
As an incredibly awesome side effect, I am now able to stream SiriusXM to my Xbox 360. That's a pretty f***ing awesome side effect.
UPDATE: uPnPlay seems to be the better option. If you turn on the Cache Detection in the Experimental settings, your TVersity server connects instantly. No such setting in Skipta.
New Sirius app works from backup
Just downloaded the newest Sirius app on my phone. Did a Titanium backup and restored it on my Prime. Worked like a charm! The app is version 2.0 build 20060. The app is even better than the old one. You can rewind songs and whole shows.
Still no reason why there isn't a tablet optimized version...

It actually looks great on my Prime. It looks like it is optimized for a tablet, so maybe they are going to allow it soon. Check out the screenshot I took.

When I did the backup with Titanium, I was already signed in and had the channel list updated on my phone. I never saw the login screen on my prime.

Google play wish list

Not sure if this has already been discussed. But I wished there was a wish list feature for Google play. I mean how many times have you seen apps that you wanted try but didn't have time to time download. Wouldn't a wish list be a good idea that way you could add apps to your list and mass download them. Comment's.?

I've been wanting that feature for awhile.
I wish there was a way to get that feature add to Google play
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using XDA Premium HD app
Using Chrome Extension
I find the item in my chrome browser and use the Amazon Wish List extension to add it to my Amazon Wish List.
I wish it was in Play already, but this for me, for now.

anyone know of an app that tells you who is using your wifi?

i know wifikill does this, it even tells you the names of the devices. only problem is that it reboots everytime you disable it on the transformer.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T
try faceniff or droidsheep
I use Fing on my HTC Flyer. My TF300's in for repair, so I don't know if it's compatible, but if so it worlks well.
You can also just open up your web browser, go to your router's web configuration page and look at the DHCP leases.
Fing works just fine on the TF300

i have uploaded the live extra olypic app from nbc. I DL'd it on my DINC2 -->titanium backup--->extract---->install on my ATP. it works decent, every now and again it goes slow-mo. a quick home screen press and recent app open seens to fix. i have read that it is a tegra 3 issue.

You should change the topic to be more descriptive.
You can download the app here:
NBCOlympics.com
People searching for this know that the app is flagged as incompatible. I you cannot download it from nbcolympics as it just provides a play store link

Interesting app. It does ask who your TV provider is and made me log in to my FiOS account.
An Olympics fan with a Prime who doesn't have an android device will appreciate your sharing of the app.
After reading how you did it, I did it for myself to my phone from the market, then used Root Explorer to find air.com.nbcuni.com.nbcsports.liveextra-1.apk in /data/apps. Then I sent it to my cloud storage so the Prime can access it. Works just like you said.
Sent from my VS910 4G using Tapatalk 2
It works great. I simply downloaded the APK...
It's a shame that they don't support Tegra 3......
It says I don't have a subscription. Is there anything I can do about that? I don't have MSNBC I don't think. All I have is dish network kids pack. I REALLY want to watch the Olympics!

When I try to install the first time I get an error message saying something like "There was a problem parsing this package." Then I tried it a second time, and the install worked, but it keeps going into slow motion. Any idea why?
I'm on a stock transformer prime.
The slow motion that happens after the first few seconds of video playback can be worked around by pressing your home button. Then, open the recent programs and go back to Live Extra. The video will play back fine.
