Stock kernel flashable in cwm - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hello guys, I installed the minicm9 but want to return to original firmware. However, I am stuck at nAa kernel, which is for ICS obviously. I can't somehow enter flash mode and flashing official zip firmware does not change the kernel back to 2.1 stock. Is there a working CWM flahsable stock kernel? Or any way to completely shut off phone and enter flash mode? Thank you

Your question does not belong in this section, but in the Questions and Ansers...
I don't know if you have PC Companion or SEUS, but repairing using one of those Sony Ericsson official programs will restore the original kernel as well...
You can NOT flash a kernel through CWM.

[Q] Bricked My WT19i

I have a rooted SE wt19i with CWM recovery installed and yesterday I wiped all the data, cache and system files to install Minimul Triumph ROM.
When I rebooted my phone it was stucked at the First Sony Ericsson screen and didnt boot into recovery. I have a Backup On My SD.
Please Help
have you tried flashing back to the original firmware using flashtool?
Yes i DId try but it doesnt even go to flash mode
Edit:I finally managed to go to flash mode. I flashed the firmware succesfully thanks kevin
First, I cannot find that kind of ROM for WT19i, could be wrong ROM to install. You can only install ROMs, that are built for your phone.
Second, you must have custom kernel to boot into custom ROM. Stock kernel only works with stock ROM. First install custom kernel(there's plenty of them in Development section, like X Kernel, Rage Kernel, bbooff's kernel etc) and then via CWM install custom ROM(install from sdcard).
Most custom kernels include CWM.

Yes, you need to lock your bootloader if you want. The method is almost the same as you did to unlock it.
The Bootloader will still be Unlocked (If I'm not Wrong)

1. flash mesa kernel 1.6 using fastboot
2. select flashmode and then then select the sony ics rom 4.1.b.0.431
3. press the volume down button and flash this rom....
4. power on voila stock rom with custom kernel.....
am i right with this procedure........

while flashing the stock ROM (.ftf), make sure you check 'exclude kernel', then proceed. I'm not sure whether this is the right method to flash custom Kernel and Stock ROM, but afaik, it should work.. If you wanna be more sure, then try going through a few tutorials if you find them, or wait for a more experienced member to correct me if I'm wrong.
And also, I'm not sure of how efficiently stock ICS will work with mesa kernel..
Not claiming to be a more experienced user but...
1.) flash stock rom using flash mode
2.) flash kernel using fastboot mode
Ready.
You can not accidentally relock the bootloader by flashing a rom or kernel.
Sent from my phone.
No you will not relock your bootloader. If you Unlocked via the test point method you never need to relock your bootloader, whoever posted the second post needs to reread your question.
Flash using flashtool the ftf, then before you boot up your stock rom, flash MESA kernel via fastboot and flashtool then boot up for the first time. Done.
well i already flashed the rom.... and mind you never flash the kernel and then the rom(ticking xclude kernel) cuz the flashing stucks at 99%....
always flash rom first bootup and then poweroff and then flash kernel.....
also use bloatware remover removes the blotware and makes the stock rom superfast....... loving it......
although i cant seem to figureout on how to use v6 supercharger though....
ANY HELP ON THAT
THANKS AND TON....
and nvr get afraid while rooting u always get something in the last.... even if its a paperweight

You shouldnt have to bootup before flashing the kernel. It has nothing to do with the actual boot aslong as the kernel is correct for the rom you are trying to boot. If you want a fresh install with MESA kernel then you can flash the kernel in fast boot straight after flashing the ftf with flashtool.

[Q] SE Xperia Mini Pro Fullbrick (?)

Dear Guys,
I have bought a Xperia Mini Pro two weeks ago & yesterday I have unlocked the bl and flashed the KernelPanic 1.25, everything was fine, then I installed an LED Fix with CWM, but it end up in a bootloop. I tried to fullwipe it, to flash the kernel again with flashtool etc
Finally, I relocked the bl & flashed the .587 firmware with the PC-Companion. After that at starting the phone only the LED blinks three times, but I still can go into fastboot mode & flash mode.
I've tried everything but nothing worked & or I'm just too stupid for it.
Do you have any idea how to bring it back to life ?
P.S.: Sry for my bad English, I'm from Germany.
reflash stock fw and stock kernel and relock BL if dont work try SEUS with locked bootloader

The kernel.sin is included in the ftf. After you flashed the fix you needn't relock bootloader, just flash the rom again. I recommend to do a nandroid backup in cwm before flashing anything, just for sure. Try to flash the stock ftf again.
If this doesn't work and you can enter fastboot mode, unlock the bootloader again, flash a custom kernel, boot in cwm and mount usb storage, push a zip of any rom, install the rom, reboot (the kernel must be the right one for the rom of course) and you should be done :good:
EDIt: You can PM me if you want, and we can talk in German
Just LED blinks three times

Have you check your battery?
If the LED blinks in RED color for three times, that means battery is empty
Flashing official firmware seus worked on the second try.
I'm on CyanogenMod FXP 9.1 now, it runs better than stock.
Thanks you all.

I think you are flash the wrong kernel, the kernel you've flashed is for ICS not for GB..
You may just have soft-bricked your phone, but don't fret . My Neo V was also got stuck on the SONY logo yesterday, after I tried to flash a custom ROM. The phone wouldn't even go into recovery mode. I tried many things to get my phone back up again including flashing the stock kernel, but nothing worked, except repairing it through PC Companion.
If nothing else works, you can try the "Repair" option in Sony PC Companion, which will flash your phone with the latest stock ROM and you will have to root it again (if you want). But BEWARE, all your phone data will be LOST, if not already backed up. If you are wondering where to find the "Repair" option in PC Companion, open the software >> Support Zone >> Update Firmware. On this small window where it asks you to connect your phone, you will see the "repair" option just below on this screen.
You may have done many wrong things, you need to divide kernel issues from rom ones.
Anyway you can set back to stock firmware (rom+kernel) flashing the fw you want with flashtool. Full wipe is a must. If you can't enter cwm right now you will lose your rom-data in order to restore phone.
When you flash a kernel you have to check which android rom it is build for (gb, ics, jb), or your phone will not be able to boot.
Then when you flash a rom you have to make full wipe and follow its instructions.
Of course if you flash whole stock firmware you don't have to worry about the things above.
Don't use PC companion, instead use Sony Update Service. If it refuses to help you, then flash fw manually with flashtool.

flash official .62 rom using flash tool and it'll work
then
flash nightelf GB kernel using fastboot or flashtool
after that reflash your rom

Ok You have the stock rom now.. so you can install recovery the way you did it before... (you know, go through the rooting process again and so on)
The ROM you tried to flash depends on a custom kernel, and the custom kernels have recovery built in, so it's not included in the ROM, that's why you lost it.
If you don't (want to) use a custom kernel, you need to find a ROM that is built for the stock kernel. Those ROMS will have the recovery included.
So in short: ROM for stock SonyEricsson kernel will have recovery included.
ROM for custom kernel will not have recovery, because it's in the kernel itself.

Yes, i know you did not flash a kernel. I tried to explain why you lost your recovery.
Think of your phone as a computer:
The hardware by itself can't do anything, so it needs software.
On a computer, you have a bios, or uefi, that initialises some hardware parts and then tries to find an operating system. On your phone it's called the bootloader.
The bootloader looks for the kernel, and loads it when it finds one.
The kernel then looks for the userspace software. On your computer it loads Windows, or Linux or whatever you have on there. On the phone that's called the ROM.
The bootloader on the phone is locked to look for the stock Sony Ericsson kernel, anything else will not work. But you can unlock the bootloader so it can find other kernels too.
The SonyEricsson kernel does not have recovery built in, so when you put recovery on your phone, it's installed in the ROM.
When you flash another ROM it gets overwritten, so if the new ROM does not have recovery included you will lose it.
A custom ROM that runs on Stock Kernel will have recovery included.
A custom ROM that runs on a custom Kernel will NOT have recovery included, because it is built into that custom Kernel.
So when you flash that ROM you will lose recovery.
So you went back to the original firmware, you will need to root the phone again and install recovery again, and then flash a ROM that says it will run on the Stock kernel.
The Nxt5 ROM expects recovery to be in the kernel, so it's not suitable for the SonyEricsson kernel.
I hope you understand this
