I am just new to xda developers forum. And this is my first post.On right top of screen theres a default battery indiction. Evry phone has to show hw much battry remaining. I wanted to change my horizontal default to vertical like those of samsung phones. Is it possible??? My phone is rooted xperia neo v. I dont use any roms.

Check for systemui mods based on your firmware version under themes n apps section, download n Flash it via recovery or replace systemui with root explorer n proper permission.

Yes!! I just rooted my phone somedays back by reading on google. But this roms thing its complicated

UOT kitchen is not ROM thing..
a simple zip flash trough CWM recovery.. (btw, that is same way to flash ROM's, but with wiping some stuff in CWM before you flash ROM)
p.s. nice that you root-ed by googling, that is appreciated here

Yes! But actually due to some prob i cant unlock bootloader and install roms today . Cn u tel me anyother solution? Atleast today to replace my stock battery icon. Coz actually i have rom toolbox pro app. In that app there are options to replace stock icons of battery. I replaced it bt now my battery is 56% and it is showing 100%. What to do ?? Pls suggest

Install cwm using xparts app from play store.
Then download any mod you get in themes and apps section compatible with your firmware version. Put the zip to sd card.
Then there is a tutorial how to flash zips using cwm in one of the links I gave you before. Read that and flash zip. Enjoy

Hello,
i habe a Problem with my Xperia U:
Today i have flashed the Dynamic Rom, for U.
Because i find this rom not so good i have flashed again to Stock ICS.
The Problem, now i dont can Root my Phone (i have use binary and Flashtool).
Then i would flash the Stock Rom again, and what happens?
I dont can flash anymore..
What the hell is doing wrong?

Hello to everyone. I want to know wether I can install any custom Rom I want through app ( like Rom manager ) than OTA or with CWM ( the only ways I know). A friend of mine has LG smartphone and cam install ROMS in 5' time through app he has set up. Can this happen to Neo V???

Yup you can do that but if you flash a wrong Rom,there are possibilities of a Hard brick! Hence cwm method is preferred n safer

They aren't useless! Just its not very advisable for users who are relatively new to this!
There have been instances of hard brick with Rom manager! Then only way out is Sony center!
I'm not discouraging you just saying a fact!

Man, I don't believe you try to discourage me. I want to find out if, by this way, I can save more battery energy, but as I see, this can happen only if I flash kernel. Cause, from the screen of the battery usage, the screen uses more than 50%[!!!!] and I can't reduce more the brightness. I m on Ultimate HD 2.0.3

Try Original Xperia T ROM by zohaib. It has this option under Developer Options. But I haven't found this mod as individual flashable zip... Try PMing him maybe.
