It's a very solid build. New base and everything is buttery smooth. This is the build you want if you are a miui fan.
Sent from my LTEvo

Definitely a smooth build, this is the first time ive ran Miui on the Evo LTE I missed it haha.
Sent From EVO LTE

I would prefer a Sense based miui over aosp miui.
That way we could probably retain the stock camera.

I thought it would have LTE. Its a smooth ROM but back to CM10 I go.

Yes but there was a Sense based MIUI for the EVO 3D which works well.
There is also a Sense rom on the 3D that has miui base.
I just would like to see that being done on the lte.

I'm with you here. I doubt its all that different at this point. I ran his updated base. It ran great, but honestly a sense ROM doesnt "make me fall in love with my phone again" (and I have always loved this thing)
I'll wait for the official release
On snergy installer there was an option to install ext4 and stated "blitz all data"
Question is.. Data on sdcard or internal sdcard or we talking about the data partition? Really feel like a noob on this one.
Thanks in advance.

This booted ok on Mik .02, but there seemed to be an issue with the stock browser. It kept closing after a few minutes with only 2 windows open. This happened about 5 times and after a reboot too.
The browser issue went away when I reloaded a backup I had.
I'm not sure if this had to do with this update, but I figured I'd share what happened when I tried to use it.

So I'm assuming this will mod something within the frameworks of the phone. I'm s-on, htcdev unlocked and not looking to achieve s-off. Will this mod something that will prevent me from taking future otas. If so is there going to be a revert zip

I have nandroids. But if I run this and it works well, come two months from now when an ota drops I don't want to have to use an old nandroid to take it. I want to either just be able to take it as is or run a revert and take it then.

Although I don't think that this will affect otas that just sounds lazy...not wanting to restore a nandroid? Unfortunately When u wanna tweak your phone not everything will be spoon fed..make a backup if your worried and restore to how it is now..or flash the rooted version of the ota which is what I always Do.. I'm assuming your on 1.19 since u take otas

DISCUSSION / FEEDBACK JB Sense 4.5 port

Let's keep the development thread clean and for bug/fix reports.
Post away folks feedback and thoughts are welcome.
Sorry I posted in the ROM thread before I knew this one existed.
Anyway:
Sense recent apps is eye candy, like iTunes coverflow.
However you can only see one full recent app and half of two other adjacent apps. It will only show the app's name and icon when it's the actively selected recent app, and you cannot see your current app in the background. To me it feels very claustrophobic.
Honestly I'd prefer the Gingerbread recent apps menu to the way Sense currently handles it. Switching between apps should be quick and effortless and provide a comfortable overview of what's running and not feel like you're searching around a dark app cave with a flashlight illuminating one app at a time.
Sent from my EVO
maybe optional in aroma for a later version. IDK.

Is the EVO line the most notorious for camera limitations when it comes to port/source ROMS or is this common with other phones? Besides my Hero all I've ever owned have been EVOs and there are always camera issues.

It's HTC in general, more or less gingerbread sense and up has had the camera driver integrated with sense to its core, so it takes some time to get it working, since it worked in jellybean it shouldn't be too hard just camera is low priority

Not to mention the fact that's there's a BlakCM thread in the other HTC EVO lte forum here

Credit him as a contributor. This Rom was built by swiper. Follow the links. I haven't installed it.

Well guys, I noticed Rootlinux commented in here and he's been running Swiper's black cm for a while. I don't think he would be this kind nor speak of the animations if this was not permitted by Swiper. IJS.
This ROM is running very nice and smooth

If it doesn't, then just flash Cap's APN fix and GPS fix. If this is anything like Swiper's blackCM then that should do the trick
It will work.
It might already be baked in. See above

Couldn't get GPS to work.

Works for me.
Try Caps GPS fix over it.
The fix should be baked in but flashing the GPS fix won't break anything.
GPS didn't work for me out of the box either. Flashing the fix worked though.
Works just fine for me. Google maps found the cracks of my ass just like it usually does..

It's not that I don't believe you.
I flashed yesterday, and it's a very nice Rom BTW, but couldn't get GPS to work. So, I backed up, restored, Bareback, did profile and prl, because they are working on the towers here, but GPS lock, opened Navigation and set a course, then restored your rom.
Still didn't work. Don't know.
And I was having problems with your debloated gapps on Carbon, and another rom, but it works great with your rom....except for keyboard swipe.
I know you have additional gapps, but was just saying that it worked fine.

I don't use Swipe but swipe gestures work on Ultra Keyboard, TouchPal and others.
Not sure why it wouldn't work on Swipe.
