Previously my S3 could display whatever apps that was running in the notification shade (pull down notification / status menu thingy). It was simple to switch between apps this way. After I upgraded to JB, this function was gone. I can't remember what app it was that made that happen or was it something in ICS.
Does anyone know how to get this function back or what app I could get to achieve this function?

I searched the web for quit a time now, but did not find anything to answer my question:
Is there any way to disable the icons in the notification bar which appear while apps running in background without losing their full funktion?
For example I have an "Anti-Virus Program", "LBE Security Master" an "Tasker" running in Background. There a little Icons shown in the Status-Bar and big notifications when I pull down the notification bar. Of course many apps have an option to disable this, but they tell me that they won´t work right anymore if I would disable that. Since Jelly-Bean, I think, there is a way to disable notifications from every app but same thing here - apps seem not to work right anymore.
Is there a way to get rid of the icons or the big notifications without losing their funktion?

I have an S III and Running CM10.2.
I Want to have full screen on EVERY APP on the phone, but still have the ability to access my Notifications bar.
I Have tried some apps but none of them worked to get Fullscreen and the Navbar together...
Any Suggestions?
I'm sure once, recently, I could tap the clock on my pull down notification drawer and the clock app opened. But now it doesnt, have installed things and possibly upgraded my AOSB rom as I dont know when this suddenly didnt work, just noticed it today.
Is there any conflicts or apps that would disable this? or a way to get it back? I run exposed if this helps...
I am using Remix ROM for my Galaxy S3, it's Lollipop 5.1.1. I prefer to use Power Toggles notification bars, so to conserve screen space I'd like to turn off/disable/get rid of the stock notification drawer. I have gone into the settings and removed all the tiles, however when you swipe down on notification area the space where the tiles for at least one row would be, is still there, just blank Any way to do this? there is many devices and apps that require them to be running all the time to make them work for example smartbands, they have a notification saying connected, maybe one is fine, but i have 2 apps that require this and have to notification there all the time that I find annoying, is there any way to maybe have them running still but just hide the notifications?
If you're running Nougat, you can slide the notification to either side and open the settings for that app. There, press the encircled A and select the priority of the notification accordingly.
