I found out you can upgrade from a Note I to a Note II for $299 with AT&T and then submit the old Note I to Samsung for a upgrade rebate of up to $200. So essentially you upgrade from a Note I to a Note II for $99.
Of course with a two year leash.

I remember when the original note came out, people were saying that AT&T was allowing them to preorder it and renew their contract at the lower price even if they just did it a month previously. Doesn't look like we can do it this time around. It was either a bug in their system or they were trying to boost the note's popularity.
Early upgrades are allowed 6 months into your current contract for an additional $250. Unfortunately, every store in my area won't allow the early upgrade unless its for an iPhone.

$250 or $300 is still a rip off weather it has ICS or not! Beside the way ics has been on other devices and from some reviews I don't really think its gonna be anything spectacular. Gonna be another "I waited this long for this?!" Type of deal. I really don't think its gonna be much of a game changer

Note 2 by far. I've owned note and the s3, but not Iphone but I could not do a 4 inch screen. Also depends were to get it I paid 550 new on Craig locally locally, it was sold by a local phone shop though. From Verizon it week be 699

so as the title states best buy price match guarantee worked in my success, that i would very surprised at!! i was shopping online sprint released me from contract using vzw prl's too much roaming they terminated me so i was shopping online at amazonwireless.com found the note 2 grey version only for 149.99 and the dna 49.99 out the door 200 bucks went to best buy asked for a manager showed him the pricing and sure enough they gave me both devices for 225 out the door i purchased the geek squad warranty. 9.99 a month per line i got it cause they give you one free battery for signing up was well worth it just for that!! and if you cancel before 30 days well then you get a battery for free and you help rep make a pinch of commision costing you nothing just thought i would share to all of those thinking that 299 was a hefty price like myself!! hope i have helped, pm me with any questions

Also anytime you are dealing with commission there are also chargebacks. So no you arent making the salesman any commission. But if their chargebacks are abnormally high you could be getting them in trouble.

just as a heads up if you call at&t they will probably allow you to upgrade early. My upgrade was not available until May 8th and they told me I can upgrade. You will have to wait until Friday when the phone is released because they can't do preorders
Wal-Mart associate here. Good luck getting any new release phone. They are shipped my manufacturer at will and we cannot order them. Also replenishable stock on contract phones is almost non existant. I would have purchased mine from my employer early but the stock is just not there and never is. Wait a few weeks.

I have N2 and also eligible for upgrade. I stopped by at BB today and yes $199, but I have SERO plan so no luck!! I will see if Sprint can price match. Phone looks amazing.
I hope you have better luck than I did. My sprint store said no. Claiming 100% of best buy sold phones are refurbished no matter how new the phone is (even though I got an s4 on launch date)

NO! they are so strict. I even talked to Sprint Sero customer service department. I paid 349+Tax. Hoping to get some money from my N2 eBay.

Because I already did it I can't look at the offer details such as dates or restrictions. But I bought my note 3 for $272 after taxes .(10% in silicon valley) and got my $10. Not much, but something for sure.
I was sad to find out Samsung stopped offering the Google play credits so went out searching for more. If anyone has anymore Samsung purchase deals let me know haha.
Just got the Sprint Note 3 from BB for $149. Was expecting it to be $199 as I saw over the weekend, but it is now on sale for $149. Galaxy Gear is also $50 off when purchased together.

The best buy I just went to was 149 for new lines only. Still 199 for upgrades. Does anyone have any proof of 149 upgrades?

If your upgrade eligible and your contracts up.....add a line and get it for the $149. Call sprint and cancel the line thats off contract then port your number over to the line you added. Then you can sell your original phone and youll probally break even or get more then the $149
