Hi,
I've been going nuts in trying to find a good screen protection for my p5100. I mean, there are lots of them in Amazon UK, but none is THAT good.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008MMDRTO/ref=oh_details_o04_s01_i00 - too resistive to finger scroll
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0093EP5B8/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 - good in terms of scrolling, but it seems like I'm constantly using a spoon on the tablet. It makes that "sshhhhh" sound, not good.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008JCIVT8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 - too resistive to finger scroll, mainly top-to-bottom.
So, please. Does anyone know a really good screen protector for this baby?
Regards,
why you don't try on ebay?
I am going to try.. But I was hoping for some reviews on screen protectors before I purchased another.
answer

Hi!
I'm looking for a good anti-glare screen protector for my phone and I'm wondering if theres a real difference between the ones from known brands and the "generics" such as this on http://cgi.ebay.com/3X-Anti-Glare-S...ccessories&hash=item2a116a31a7#ht_2711wt_1065
Any thoughts?
Thx
Hi, I'm using this screen protecter. It has premium quality. I recommended it
http://cgi.ebay.com/SGP-Anti-Finger...260477?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2a08ae32fd
I too prefer the anti-glare protectors. The shiny one's allow the display to shine (no pun intended) while the anti-glare one's add a little "noise" to the display but the fact that it cuts the glare and fingerprints on the screen is worth it to me

Does it fit the screen perfectly? I've bought anti glare protectors from gittigidiyor.com but they don't fit , a few mm's bigger than the screen.

It's a screen protector that's actually made out of glass.
It's been chemically treated to resist scratches and fingerprints.
Ships out next week.... Was thinking about getting one....
Here's the review for the iphone version of it:

It's 0.5 mm so maybe certain cases won't fit
Maroon, your posts are always of interest, but this screen protector is a stellar find! I will get one, it is the first one that delivers protection with out losing screen clarity and feel. Good find and thanks for sharing.

Holy balls. $35?! I hope it's awesome. It sounds awesome . . . but wow.

I wish I waited, well now I am getting a second screen protector.
i saw this last week, great tip!
but i ordered a Zenus Air Capsule. i've heard they are a tight fit, so i wonder if that protector wouldn't work with the Air Capsule. i'd love to hear from someone who has tried it!
Wow...this looks really tempting. Gives me even more reason to wait for the Note to drop further in subsidized price...preferably to $200.
I don't see the point of putting glass on it, it will be just thicker when we are looking for the thinnest screen protector? Right?
I wonder though if the thickness would affect the sensitivity of the pen? Those of u checking this out let us know
it's really good. Thanks for info.

Common misconception.
The screen itself does not detect pressure from the S Pen. It uses electromagnetic resonance. This means that what affects the levels of pressure are in the S Pen itself. The S Pen is powered by resonant coupling to my understanding.
What does this mean for us? Screen protectors of any size.
Try it for yourself. you can draw through cardboard and even hover paper 1cm ABOVE the screen. Scribble on that paper and you'll see that it write below.
Awesome tech
That actually makes sense, thanks for the info. So people who are experiencing s pen problems do u think it is caused more than likely by not calibrating the pen, or by having a faulty pen?

I installed a free protector from spg called Steinheil and so far so good, no problems with my pen.

$35 for screen protector is little too much. I use SGP Steinheil Ultra Crystal and its more than sufficient + great quality.

Hi all,
I am trying to find stylus for XS. Before you start asking why I need it, let me explain. Recently I got addicted to Draw something game/app. And I need stylus to draw more accurate drawings. I tried pencil with rubber at the end of it, but it does not work due to capacitive screen. Maybe some shops/ebay sells something like that, but I want to buy the one that definitely works and the end of it as thin as possible. Has anybody got experience using something like that? Does stylus for Galaxy Note would work?
Thanks in advance.

I use the capacitive stylus designed for iphone/ipad and they work.

Indeed the s-pen is a wacom pen and requires a special wacom layer in the de device.
Any capacitive style will work with xps.
Thanks gents,
I bought this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-High-Sensitivity-Capacitive-Stylus-LCD-Metal-Touch-Pen-iPad-2-2G-/260967974526?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopAccessories_RL&hash=item3cc2e7467e

I got this one as an extra with a case I bought, it works well mostly but sometimes is a bit hit and miss.
If you want something for precise work this might not be to your liking.

Thanks. It has been shipped within an hour after I bought it, but to be honest, like I mentioned, I need it only for Draw Something (and fimiliar later on), so should be fine.
Anybody have experience using using polishes like this to remove scratches on touch screens?"
http://www.amazon.com/Displex-Screen-Scratch-Remover-Phones/dp/B001EJHMW0
I'm wondering if the polish will interfere with the capacitive sensing of the screen. Any ideas?
Based on the reviews and what I've heard personally, this kind of thing really doesn't work well on most smart phones, so my gut instinct would be to stay away from it.

I have bought this product a few years ago and it really sucks. At most it makes a scratch less noticeable but will NOT work on touch screens. Says so right on the tube.

Good evening.
I was looking for a stylus for the TF300, but I didn't know what should I buy. I'd use it for underline pdfs and taking notes with Supernote.
Is there anything like the Samsung S Pen? I'd like to spend less than 20 euros.
Thanks in advance
I'd like to know this too...anyone help?
Maybe with an UP...
Only stylus for iPads or normal android phone or works with iPhone will work. But they're not very accurate it's like drawing with your finger but it's a stick as the stylus had big surface area so that the even can detect it.

Any capacitive style stylus will work. Mostly anything listed here will work. Obviously the cheaper they are the lower quality they are. My step mom bought her Stylus for 10 bucks, its all metal, i got 3 for 5 bucks, they are all plastic.
the ones best buy sells are awesome. i think its targus brand? i use it for everything.

I bought a cheap aluminum one today with a felt tip, it it works pretty well with a light touch, and no screen protector.
Specifically, the tip is a rubberish felt material, that slides across the screen easily without getting stuck.
this may sound dumb, but do you guys rest your palms on the screen when you write? i am hating the "only the pen touching" thing. if i rest my palm though, it doesnt know where i want to write. Anybody else seeing the predicament here? Thoughts? techniques? am i missing something obvious? i liked the idea of a stylus until this manifested itself.

Would be complex but cool. But so is the star trek tablet I am using! I guess time will prove that. Just wish I could contribute.

I think certain note apps have the palm rejection capability. I believe Lecture Notes does, but I haven't tried it with the TF300T yet.

If you look in the play store, there are a few apps with palm rejection for notetaking, if thats what you want.

About two years ago I bought a metal stylus with a rubber tip from a pound shop in the UK. I wondered if it would work with my Galaxy S2 but of course it didn't. Still, I'm glad I didn't throw it away because a year later when I tried it on my tf300t it worked like a charm.

Yeah I probably have the same generic one. It works pretty well considering I got it for free.
