Good morning,
I'm trying to install the game ducati challenge (which was already installed in the phone) and always gives me the following error: "Could not install Ducati Challenge. Free up some space and try again."
Currently I have the following memory on Xperia:
754 MB of internal memory which have 321 MB available
2.01 GB of internal storage which have 1.05 gb available
Micro SD Card 16 GB of which have 6.51 gb available (where it is entering the dates of the games)
I have the game pending the notification bar.
I routed the phone. What I do to free up space?
I do not have enough space for the game? Have had it installed once.
Can you help me?
Kind regards,
Jorge Moreira
What Xperia are you using?
Because i never had any problem like that in my xperia S (maybe because of the 32GB internal )
I think you have to move data from your internal to your sd card.

You're luckier
I have the Xperia Miro.
It has 2 GB available to the user. However bought a 16 gb card class 10.
I changed the file and vold.fstab phone is considered as the 16 GB internal memory.
The date of the games are on the external card.
Hence I do not see why the lack of space.
Kind regards,
Jorge Moreira

Hello i am a HTC Desire user. i was suffering the low memory problems on desire. so i rooted my phone and installed leedroid's http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1170633 rom.
well it says that it will get 1gb free space but after installing i checked in Settings>>APP Manager>>Storage Use its showing only 129 MB free
is it all right or am i doing anything wrong?
i have also partitioned my sd card as per leedroid (1gb EXT3)
please help
I don't really know where you've seen 1Gb free space.. you've got 1gb free space on you sd card to move your apps to, but you internal memory has 128MB free because this one is limited. You can try moving your apps to sd, but eventually you'll run out of memory....

Yes, I am using a 64gb SD card. The only problem is you will need to format the SD card to fat32. They are some free programs that will format it for you. I did have a small problem with 4.0.3 r5 reading the card, but as soon as I transfered a music track it read my SD card, and I have not had a problem since. The are some games that can be moved to SD, I use GL to SD for gamesloft games. I use about 2gb of internal storage and 60+gb on SD.

Using a 64gb card now. I had to format to fat32 but it works perfectly. I used the following free program EASEUS partition master. My card is loaded with over 125 movies, tv shows and music videos.

Hello )
I have a rooted ICS samsung note, i installed the NFS Most Wanted game, after launching the game, he tries to download 1,96 GB of data and (of course) can't find enough space on my internal memory of my internal SD card
i already have a second SD card installed on my Note (with 25 GB free space on it), how can i manage to get the NFS game to download data on that external SD rather than the internal one?
thanks a lot!! )

I moved it to the internal SD card, how can i do to push it to the external one (the one with more storage) ?
omar
Get a program like app2sd pro or apptoSd.
Did you managed to make it work? You can try an app that is called GLtoSD.It allows you to move big gaming data to your external SD card. Root is required.

Hi. I just rooted my Xperia Go with stock jelly bean. But I noticed one problem, when I see storage info I'm only using 4 gb of space, but my sd card is 32 gb so I want to know what's the problem and how can I use the ext sd card. Because I'm just wasting a lot of space. I upload a screenshot too, hope you can help.
I think the problem is to swap storage/sdcard1 to /sdcard0 or not?

It no a problem because every Android smartphone will slip memory to 3 part which is phone memory (you cannot access file trough USB for new type phone), internal memory (as SD Card for GB version and SD Card 0 in JB) and external memory (as Ex_Card for GB and SD Card 1) another one is USB storage (not use at all) you can try go this link
http://www.aroundandroid.com/tag/how-to-increase-android-phones-internal-memory-with-link2sd-app/
if not you try to swap SD (ext sd to internal sd)
http://androtechnocracks.blogspot.com/2013/05/modswapswap-internal-sd-card-and.html
...usually have lot of method to do it
Hi all,
I'm considering buying the Z5 Compact and I have a question for the current owners. I currently own the Xperia T which has 16 Gb of storage space. About 3 Gb is taken up by the OS. The folks at Sony, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to partition the remaining space into 2 Gb of "device memory" and 11 Gb of "internal memory". Device memory is where apps are installed and internal memory is treated like an SD card. That means that you only get a pathetic 2 Gb to install apps. When you account for the Sony and carrier apps that cannot be uninstalled, it's more like 1.4 Gb. Someone here at XDA has found a way to repartition the memory on the Xperia T so you can allocate as much as you want for either partition. My question is: is the memory on the Z5C also partitioned into two partitions or is it just one big chunk of memory? If it's partitioned, has anyone found a way to repartition it like with the Xperia T?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Dan
It's not, there is a system and cache parition, the rest is not seen as an sd card, but as internal memory, so you have the full~28gb for apps
