Which phone should be purchase Xperia mini pro or tipo or any other android phone? My budget is 10000 INR.
Required : Good Camera and Good sound.
*Xperia mini pro has a 5 mp camera but tipo has 3.15 mp...
so,the mini pro's camera quality is better than tipo
* Xperia mini pro has better cpu and gpu
* if you want a good sound quality,also you can buy Xperia "Live with walkman" because it has stereo speakers

May be xperia mini (st15i) may got under 10000 INR. Anyway Mini is better than Tipo. Is there any other good android phone under 10000 in HTC or samsung

HTC explorer, Galaxy Y... Xperia mini is better than all these...
But I suggest going for Motorola Defy... I am uncertain about the price... its hardware is awesome... And about the software development leave it on QUARX
Mini or Mini pro is definitely better than tipo
2011 xperias are all power packed... I have lww and it has excellent music quality... Downside is the poor contrast and resolution... HTC explorer has better display with its natural colors...

Also Live with Walkman (WT19) has 5 mega pixel camera.

Galaxy Y has lower hardware specifications. For instance CPU & RAM. Xperia mini, mini pro, live with Walkman has a 1GHz processor & 3xx MB RAM. I guess xperia RAM 350MB.
Tipo has BIGGEST battery life

U can get mini pro for 8700 on ebay. I bought mine there . But if u don't need the physical keyboard, I suggest u should go for LWW coz of the bigger screen. Its for 9600 on ebay... dunno if those deals are still on but check in the deals section of ebay.in
First of all thanx for suggestions to all...Now i think mini /mini pro will be better option as these are loaded with good hardware and software configuration.

go for XMP bro, it has a better Hardware. tipo has slightly bigger screen wich are not that big deal.

According to a gsmarena comparison, the difference is going to get you a better screen resolution, a better camera, a larger SD card in the package, a better battery.
However, the arc lacks a QWERTY keyboard, front facing camera, and has less internal storage.
They're both decent, but the choice is up to you.

If youre a ps1 and gba games lover, you probably want to take the mini pro so that you can play those games with the keyboard instead of a touchscreen

if you can afford it ... then buy it, its a flagship of xperia phone ( with all those ++ )
if you have tight cash ( like me ... ) ... there is Ray or Neo
if you have really tight cash ... then go for minipro, it's a good choice
it's simple as that ... just ask your wallet ....

Ray or Neo would be much more expensive for me.. only options are
- Mini Pro for 90€
- Arc S for 160€
I think I'll go with the Mini

I was searching for a suitable phone for my cousin sister and was recommending her the Mini Pro. Now her budget is increased and we checked out the Ray as well as the Motorola Defy +.
Any advices on which is better. She will stay on stock ROM (maybe I can change it for her once in a while) and is going to be normal user.
Mini Pro seems good but Defy + is having larger screen at similar price. Ray also seems good but more expensive and screen in between.
Mini pro should be the best if she can accept its 3" screen.
Personally,I feel XMP's performance(stock) is better than defy+,such as playing games and normal use(smoother).
And maybe she relatively cares about photo function,then I think Ray is the one.
The mini pro are god cellphone has a keyboard , for write most faster , but the xperia ray have more roms , best quality of screen has a screen of 3.3 with fwvga , the defy has more big screen , but look the pros of a cellphone xperia:

I suggest you go for Xperia Ray
Mini Pro may be a bit small ,and from what I have heard girls like to have a huge screen. If you actually notice a common complaint from every Mini Pro and Mini users is that the screen is too small .
But if she is very much interested in having a physical keyboard then Mini Pro is the one .
Moto defy + has a dust proof screen ,better resolution than Mini/Mini Pro .But there are some bugs with it and I have heard of it switching off and freezing alot . Do check out a few reviews .
Personal Opinion- Xperia Ray
I'd say the mini pro or ray. They're both more stylish than the defy+ and seem less laggy. I mean, since when are benchmarks going to matter to regular users? If she wants a better camera, go for the ray. If she prefers a keyboard, go for the mini pro. To be honest you can't go wrong with all 3 but SE usually puts less bloat on their custom interface.

Hi dudes, I have the X10 mini, and think of Buying the "Xperia MINI" for the 720p video camera, and the 1Ghz processor, as for the screen.
But I am wondering if it's worth it?

The Xperia Mini (Pro) is the successor of the Mini X10. So, this IS the Mini 2, it's just not named like it (they removed the X10 from the name).
This article has to be older, because the new one does have a 3" Display, where the X10 just had 2,6".
The 1ghz processor is really fast, it's enough for myself.
Also, the Xperia Mini is just a few months old, so there won't be another new model that soon.
Get the Xperia Mini (Pro), it's worth it.
Edit: They're also talking about the Adreno 205 GPU, which the new Mini has.
Btw.: They're talking about the single core 1ghz processor we have right now, no dual core.

Just one final question, is the difference between the x10 mini camera resolution and the Xperia Mini Camera resolution noticable?
I mean, on the asus transformer, the 720p camera does not give the feel of HD, but more of a normal 480p camera when shooting.

I would say Xperia Active or the Live with Walkman. I enjoy dropping my Xperia Active in the water It would be hard for me to get a "normal" smarphone again... Maybe they make Sony Active this year?

The problem with is this is that Sony NEVER claimed the U to be a successor to Xperia mini.
Probably it will have the new Sony-style design, but not as big as the U, if there will be a 2nd gen Xperia mini.
I hope it could b likr that coz i dnt liked this news thht xperia U will be new xperia mini in a youtube video.i love sonyericsson,s idea of small android phones having power like big guns.i used xperia x10 mini,x8 and now i m using xperia mini ST15i.i love these masterpieces by sonyericsson.Hope SONY will make us happy by making a 3.2 inch 1.5 dual core processor mini with 4 home corners....

Unfortunately, while surfing for the next mini, I stumbled uppon the same information saying that sony will treat the "U" as the new member of the mini family.
IMO, it's a huge let down. Xperia mini pro is at the limit of being "mini". So trying to sell the U as "pocket friendly" just because it's half inch smaller than the S, is the same as shouting "morons!" in customers face.
Does really live with walkman has superior sound quality as compared to xperia mini?
Or is it just walkman branding?
LWW without a doubt has better speaker sound, because it's stereo and 2.
I work on a cellphone shop (PhoneHouse, Portugal) so I'm going to test both on the weekend and report back to you.
My suggestion is LWW because the screen is a little bigger and the sound is just awesome.

i love my mini pro cos of tha keyboard but LWW has bigger screen, music phone!
LWW is better than mini and active in the series. But the mini pro has a hw keyboard which really makes the phone 'unique'.
When the battle is between mini and lww, walkman wins !

agree! walkman win in every aspect. 2 week before i bought lww, i bought xperia mini, too me, it was too small. so give to my wife.
then now i'm with lww!

Well, I have also purchased the Mini. It's a great device, but if I should decide again, I would go for the slightly bigger LWW ;-) The extra 0.2 screen, trust, you can feel it ;-)

- Compact design
Live with Walkman over Xperia mini :
- Dual speakers and Surround sound capability with great sound quality
- A bit bigger screen
How much is your budget? I suggest you are buying Live with Walkman for great sound quality, but I suggest you buying Xperia mini for a bit better camera and screen quality...

Guys really dont understand why you cry about size. Its called mini for some reason and i thing you really cant say about size of small mobile with small lcd is disadvantage becouse some1 like me have realy like it.
