hey guys i have a transparent notification bar by that i mean only the upper notification bar where the wifi , clock, signal are displayed. My question is why is the transparent notification bar transparent only in a live wallpaper but the transparent notification bar is black if i have normal non live wallpaper?????

How do I make my navigation bar and status bar transparent?
I tried the Force Translucent Kit Kat Module and it works for the navbar in some apps but the status bar is glitchy and I tried to only make it affect the navbar but I just could not , it kept glitching. So can some one please help me find an app or module that will help me make my navbar background and status bar transparent/translucent?
I have a rooted Nexus 5 with stock ROM.
