[Q] 6.7.246 update fails on Bionic, please help - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to update my phone to ICS, it is rooted, and I did have some apps that were frozen, but I defrosted them all before I tried the update. I had it run the OTA update last night, and it failed, so I tried installing it manually from recovery, and that fails too, but I'm hoping the error message I get there will be more helpful as to what is wrong. Message is as follows:
Verifying Current System
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/bin/base64".
"469bd96fa7cde29e422bbc425b102b7a4523ec91". "ca3e32d4
e93e1bade6224bcc881009055d9729a")
E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip
installation aborted.
Any ideas on what I can do?
Update: I ended up solving the problem myself by flashing my phone back to 5.9.902 using RSD Lite. From there I was able to install the OTA update to 5.9.905, and then to 6.7.246.

[Q] Cannot update with OTA, Class 7 error?

I was updating with the OTA because I was prompted by my phone, and when it went into recovery, I would get an error
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(Status 7)

What can I do about this?
Don't update, you will lose root therefore any mods on the phone can't be done.
Anyway, it seems your download of the update was damaged, you would need to download it again.

[Q] Problem on update and flashing

Can someone kindly tell me what's the problem?

[Q] Photon 4G flash radio error

Hi all!
I've got a big problem! maybe someone can help!
Got Motorola Photon 4G,( locked) with Hybrid v20 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587770 installed. I got radio n_01.11.00s.xj. This radio is awful, it drains my battery very quick, and the signal is very weak.
So i decided to get the new radio.
1. When i flash it over ,Bootstrap everything goes fine, until it gets to stock recovery, where i get th following error
--Installing SDCARD : Radio/N_01.28.07R.zip

After attempt to return to stock, stuck at logo, no BMM

Hi, I was running CM11 for xt910 and was planning to return to stock.
It wouldn't work via bootmenu manager. it would give the following error:
Installing: /sdcard/0/update.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
Warning no file_contextsVerifying current system...
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/bin/app_process", "76c3a9a7a6d400a9ff3e4db391327daa33aa0663", "2a221441bf06f2618aa6c35ae0cade13bd4f6e1b")
E:Error in /sdcard/0/update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.
or something similar.
So I attempted flashing via RSD lite, after temporary unrooting via voodoo root manager.
It says successfully installed, but at the rebooting process it hangs. (or is it usual that first startup takes over 5-10 minutes and recovery mode gives an android with a red triangled exclamation, not enabling me to do any of the actions?).
So my only chance is to fix this with fastboot. what should I do?

CM11? Are you sure?
If you have the SBF Fastboot file, located Here, RSDLite under AP Fastboot, and start from scratch!
I've never used BMM, I'm a Safestrap advocate (since it's all I've used). It will retain Stock (as long as you don't overwrite it), and then all you have to do, if you encounter a really glitchy rom, is wipe that Romslot (partition), and recreate/reinstall whatever you want.
I hope I was of SOME assistance.

[Q] HELP..Motorola Razr Maxx XT910 stuck in boot loop

HI,
Please anybody could help me out ...!
From last few days my mobile was rebooting suddenly but couple of days back it was rebooted and stuck on the bootloop of motorola logo and is stuck in it..
I have google for the same but didn't found any specific solution of it.
I went to the boot modes where i went into " AP fastboot " and followed the procedure given in one of the forum.
have used RSD lite v6.1.4 for flashing and xml file i have used (cdma_spyder_9.8.2O-72_VZW-16_1ff.xml)
but it was stuck on 7 out of 16th process.
than i went into " Recovery " mode and did wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cache partition.
I found one process of applying update externally through this file 'Blur_Version.673.94.328.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03.zip'
so did 'Apply update from external storage'
but got this below error log...
