[Q] CM10 Screen Sensitivity - Motorola Droid X2

I installed CM10 on my Droid X2 and I just couldn't get past the screen sensitivity -- everything was jumpy to the point where the phone wasn't usable. Is this something others have noticed, too? Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity?

What do you mean it was jumpy? Are you saying it is too sensitive? I dont know of any way to adjust it but I have no problems with it.

Yeah, way too sensitive. Damn, maybe it's just my Droid X2. I'd scroll up an down and it was just super sensitive, moving up and down at the slightest touch.

Also -- the screen seemed to flicker way more. I think some of it was intentional (the screen dimming and brightening). As much as I liked the look, I went back to CM7.

I haven't noticed any screen flicker, or too sensitive touch
It has seemed less sensitive, to me

You are not the only one. Had same thing on my DX2. It happened 4-5 times.
I just kept trying to get "power off / reboot" screen and reboot. After reboot everything was good.
Also had faster battery drain, purchased a 3600mAh and it would almost last 10 hours on CM10.
Two days ago went back to CM7, battery will last 14-16 hours with same usage.
Going to wait for next CM10 release to try again.

You guys need to understand that this ROM will never be perfect. Even the next update will have issues.

Understand, also understand ANY ROM can have issues, including Vz ROMs.
It's about what works for each person, in this case I am waiting for the next release, please don't get defensive because we had issues. They happened, no big deal, we have made decisions to move back to CM7.
I happen to think DZK has done a great job with CM10 and I will be moving back.

Oh I'm not being defensive. Sorry to come off that way. I just see that you guys are newcomers to the forums. A lot of newcomers have been posting about issues not understanding that our Droid X2 is not like other phones that get custom ROMs. Our CM10 is not really complete and most likely never will be because motorola hates us and doesnt want to unlock our bootloaders. If you guys are new to the DX2, I didnt want you expecting a full featured bugless ROM like, lets say the Galaxy Nexus would get. Even though its CM10, we are running it on a Gingerbread Kernel which will always cause issues. That, along with not being able to change or update the drivers doesnt help. Thats why I said even the next update will most likely have the same issues. Most of us just chose to deal with them.

I wasn't aware of the Motorola situation when I purchased the DX2, but quickly found out. I came from the Samsung world (Fascinate) as my last device and it seemed custom ROM's were very easy. With the DX2 it has been anything but easy. But for now really happy with the device overall and the CM10 ROM will make it great. The primary reason for my move back to CM7 was a call issue that seems to be well documented. If it isn't corrected with the new version of CM10 I will make adjustments and stick with it. Also the DX2 community here on XDA is great.

I haven't had the any call issues, but I make/receive very few calls
mostly texts and emails

Hey there -- just wanted to also say that I hope I wasn't coming off as a complainer (which probably meant I was!). I'm totally and absolutely grateful for all of dragonkiller's work on porting CM. I HATED my Droid X2 with BLUR -- and it has been a great joy to use since I switched to CM7.2.
I do wonder, though, that Jellybean requires a more powerful processor? CM10, outside of the sensitivity issue, felt slower in every way. I just may keep CM7.2 on this phone forever -- it's just a great ROM.

If JB felt slower to you then something is wrong. Did you install it from a clean 2.3.4 SBF?

Actually upgraded from CM7 to CM10 first time. Since moving back to CM7, I did an SBF with a clean install of CM10 and things are MUCH BETTER. Not going back at this point. This is only day two, but things are good. I did figure out that when I installed an app that CM10 did not like the screen started acting strange, but getting rid of the app and rebooting solved the issue.
I did end up with one strange problem, still working on it. I used Titanium to restore most of my apps, but wanted to do a clean install on Flash Player. So went in found the apk from my file mgr, selected "install", went to what I call the Android Install screen with two buttons at the bottom (Cancel & Install), tried to select the Install, nothing happened. I do have "Unknown Sources" checked in Security. I have tried other apk's just to test and none seem to work. Tried to move the apk's to the SD0 card, and that had no effect either. The strange thing, I had Flash Player working before going back to CM7.

ROMs: SkinnyRev1 vs. CM7

For those of you who have used both of these outstanding ROMs on your MoPho, which one do you prefer and why?
Both are great ROMs. I am currently on cm7. I am really liking cm7. Its fast and battery life is outstanding. Downside to cm7 is you do need to edit build.prop to get youtube working. Also have to edit apn to get mms working. Fixes are easy to do though.

i agree with above. both are great and will wake up your photon like no other. when it was all said and done, i picked CM7 bc thats what i ran on my EVO and was just more comfortable with it. personal preference really. neither will let you down.
I'd personally go with skinnyrev1. But I've been running CM7 for a long time on my evo shift and got bored with it. But if you have never ran CM7 before on any of your devices then its worth a try. But for the photon I'd go with skinnyrev1.

CM7 actually works ok now? Its by FAR my favorite (the only thing I miss from my EVO really).

yes, CM7 works very well. others along with myself feel the build is better then many of the EVO ones. I have no complaints.
can you please help, im running cm7 how do i do that?
I'm also running cm7, its a great, looks nice, and well its cm7 whats more to say
What advantages does CM7 have over Skinny?
Im using skinny with undelvolt and im fascinated... i wanna give a try to cm7 but when i flashed keep looping in boot animation...

Really? I haven't really seen anything other than the Alpha builds. Everything works? The Evo worked great (minus 4g, but I don't live in a 4g area anyway). I can only imagine how fast it is. My Photon runs only a little faster than my CM7 evo.
Which build are you guys running?
I am loving life on my CM7 ROM. Not a big fan of Motoblur, so wanted to try something new. To be honest though...this is my only ONLY ROM that I have tried so can't offer anything new to the conversation other than I have had few problems from it. On reboot, I get a single phone.apt error that once dismissed, doesn't bother me again. The MMS issue is NOT an issue on mine...I send and receive picturemail daily and have not had any issues with that. I wish the built in buttons for the zoom on the camera app worked, but they don't...yet. Have to use the apps slider to control zoom. The Wifi is qwerky at times. I sometimes have to FORGET a known network, turn off Wifi, turn it back on...then reenter login info's to get a reconnection on a previously working wifi accesspoint that I use...but...just a minor annoyance. Considering it is still technically in alpha...it is very usable and stable...I say go for it!

I havent had any issues with wifi, got work, home, parents home, and two friends houses in college station. 5 networks total. is it the same router that you are experiencing this trouble or is it the same across all routers?
but to anyone that is in question between the two, dont base ur selection off others, its gonna boil down to your preference. its gonna be 50/50 based on reviews. best thing you can do is flash one and play around with it, then make a backup, flash the second one and see if you like it better or not. Still make a backup of the second in case you want to move back again. Thats the great thing about Android, its your choice
since you have it narrowed down between just these two, youre in a good situation. alot better then flashin all day to see what you like the best.

I've been pretty happy with SkinnyRev1 as a daily driver. I'm currently on CM7 testing the new 1.3OC. My phone hates the 1.4 kernels for some reason and on CM7, even with the modfied APN mms is very sketchy. I can send just fine but when I receive a message, that message gets repeated over and over again every couple of hours (sometimes minutes) until I get sick of it and restore my Skinny nandroid.
I've had it happen with several versions of this alpha and cannot seem to get it to stop once it happens. Deleting the thread does nothing, I just get a notification a little later that I have a new message. I've even gone from several of the yay leaked sbfs straight to CM7, skipping skinny altogether and still have the same mms issue
Well I haven't tried skinny rom but cm7 is awesome very stable been my daily driver for about 2 weeks and love it. Very smooth and fast. I had cm7 on evo 4g and needed it on this. it's very customizable (real word?) U can change lockscreen add gestures change overall color and much much more I feel like a spokesman for cm LOL but seriously give it a try u wont b disappointed

If it helps my eventual goal after i finish some other projects would be cm7 with webtop. I might start work on it tonight actually. Ive been with cm since it started on the g1. Once kinks are worked out its definitely preferred. I made skinny because we didnt have any alternatives and my friend likes blur, lol.

[Q] Looking for a little advice

So! My mother is on the lookout for a new phone, and this guy is cheap on Verizons site. Her phone that she has now, the LG Revolution, has constant freezing issues that irritate her beyond all belief, and because I know Android she dumps them all on me. I'm looking for some questions answered about this phone before I decide if this is the phone for her:
I have read on the Engadget Review that this phone freezes often. After custom ROMs are installed (I'm thinking MIUI), is this problem alleviated?
The LG Revolution has this weird issue where it's way too easy to scroll on it, which makes opening icons on any homescreen app drawer a huge PITA.
I basically need to be able to install ROM, drop it in her hands, and feel comfortable that she's not going to run into any hardware issues with the phone. This includes freezing because of memory issues.
Also, the drop of 4G isn't an issue, it's not in the area anyways.
Thanks guys for your comments and advice ahead of time.
This device pretty much poops on the revolution. That being said my device never froze when it was stock. We have alot of rom options from mtd based roms such as android 4.0 ICS v4, CM7.1 stable, Miui, Tsm pool party...also there are some really good TouchWiz Ginberbread roms such as, Superclean v.5, PWGB, Geewiz etc... I currently am bouncing between cm7 and ICS, but I cant say those are the best roms, they all are pretty good. You will just have to try them and see what your mother likes best.
No freezing problems here, although it does bug out on me with random pressings of the back key. Sometimes the phone will enter screen capture mode and take a screen shot every time I try to power it down. Removing the screencapture apk solves this.
Overall it has been a good phone and has served me well. Gotta love that Samsung display!
I havent had this device for that long, but I love it compared to by old Droid X, mostly due to nicer screen, better battery life, and easier hack-ability.
That being said, I personally am curious on what has been done, if anything, to the LG.
Has it been rooted?
Are you running aftermarket software?
Some freezing issues can be solved by changing ram parameters, others by getting rid of certain bad apps.
I personally would like to see if your problems are actually solvable before getting a new and unfamiliar device, just for S&G's of course
It is rooted, and even after messing with the ram settings tweaked it still freezes. The other problem is that it dies way quickly, even with JuiceDefender and a calibrated battery. She's only had it for a week, so she's not yet settled on that one's ways.

I'm also a fan of SuperClean. Great rom, with none of the AOSP issues that I find to be annoying enough to avoid. If you want to tweak it a bit, add KGB kernel and maybe a different launcher (I like OMFGB-Launcher) and Rom Toolbox will handle just about everything else. This is my setup, no major tweaks (lag fix, etc) other than zram and 1.2 gHz overclock. Fast and stable.

CM7 or Miui for this noob...

So hey all, I am new here so bear with me. I have been on Android for about a year and am finally ready to root and run a rom. Started out with a Samsung Fascinate which got traded for a Droid X and that got replaced with a Droid X2. Having some small issues with the DX2, and since I need to factory reset I figured I would go ahead and try to root and run a rom...
So my question is being a complete noob would I be better with CM7 or Miui. Originally on the DX I looked into Miui and really liked how it looked and really wanted it and did a lot of research on it, but before I could try it I had to send back my DX and they replaced it with a brand new DX2 in the box. Then looking into it I noticed that Miui was not available for the DX2, so I just gave up and stayed put.
Recently reading thru the forums I see Miui is available now for the DX2, but I also was looking into CM7 which also looks really nice. I was wondering would either of them be easier for a noob? (i.e. install and post install customization) I have read up on both not having functional FM radio and HDMI, which are not big deals because I rarely use either... but are there any other big problems with either of these roms that would make a noobie like myself steer clear from them and is one of them faster than the other? I also looked into eclipse and not sure if that is something I should consider. Are there any major issues with eclipse and is it more stable than the other two? Honestly right now I am just trying to figure out where to start. I want to do something, but also want the easiest route so that I do not brick my phone as my wife would probably kill me, haha.
There is just so much info out there, I really don't know where to start. I know you guys probably get these questions all the time, but I could not find a specific thread that talked about just these two (or three) roms specifically for the DX2. I have been trying for the past month or two to research this stuff, and I have learned a lot, but I need a little help to push me in the right direction...
Oh, and if you couldn't guess I am on stock GB 2.3.4 unrooted...

Eclipse is likely the most stable, with CM7 following closely behind. MIUI is still in alpha. I haven't tried MIUI yet, but I've read people are having problems. For installing, they should all follow the same process.

Definitely recommend eclipse for starting out.
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
Well Eclipse is currently based on Android 2.3.5, which means if you decided on that ROM, you would have to update to 2.3.5 then flash the ROM. Then if you ever wanted to switch to a different ROM, you would have to go through the process of SBF'ing back to Android 2.3.4 since all other ROMs are 2.3.4 based. However, Eclipse is the most stable as was mentioned already. Now between CM7 and MIUI, both are great ROMs. MIUI has some issues with audio and video in some scenarios but still works well. Flashing ROMs isnt that hard so if you have the time, try them all out. Just have all the files ready to restore your phone back to health in case something goes wrong.
One other thing to think about between Eclipse (which is stable and the upcoming 2.0.4 release is really stable and fast) and CM7/MIUI is HDMI.
Eclipse still can output HDMI since it still has some of the BLUR components in it.
CM7/MIUI are both compiled from AOSP components and have ALL of the BLUR components removed, hence no HDMI.
So, if you use HDMI and it's deal-breaker for you, then Eclipse is definitely the way you want to go. But, stability is also nice thing for Eclipse.
I see the stability of the ROMs as follows with the most stable listed first:
Eclipse 2.0.X
CM7 Beta
MIUI
CM9 (not released yet but it has Ice Cream Sandwich)
I was on Eclipse 2.0.3, then went to CM7 and stayed there for awhile. Then, I got onto the Eclipse beta team and started testing 2.0.4. The latest 2.0.4 is the most stable I've seen Eclipse, after a few minor issues, but that's why were were beta testing it. Definitely, I'm sticking with Eclipse.
One thing I've noticed, no matter how hard you try to leave Eclipse, I'm always noticing that people keep coming back to it. That alone should tell you how great a ROM it really is.
Thanks everyone. Seems like maybe I should try out Eclipse first, which is fine. I do want the most stable rom when it comes to my first time... then if I am feeling adventurous later I can try out the others. I will go do a search and hopefully can find a post that lets me know everything I need to do in one post. Lucky for you, motcher created this sticky in the Development forum here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391824
[REF]How to go from any 2.3.4 stock/custom rom to any 2.3.5 (412) based custom rom
It has all the instructions you need in one place , it is all very easy also , don't be afraid of bricking your x2
We have this little thing called sbf, as long as you have a computer you will be able to bring you phone back from any "bricked" state if any problems happen.
just stay away from modifying any boot partitions or anything like that. Stick to basics like flashing roms and tweaks/mods/scripts that are found here in the x2 forum and you won't ever hard brick your x2 to the point of no return lol
if you are ever unsure about what exactly a mod/tweak/script/ROM/hack does to your phone then just ask before doing it, trust me tho, sbf is freaking great, so many times I've gotten "bricked" at the Motorola dual core splash screen and a quick sbf flash brings it right back...
And in case you didn't notice, I recommend eclipse enjoy, happy flashing, and welcome

Thanks so much for the info! I was out searching and wanted to ask if there was a specific link I could get that I could trust, but I didn't want to bother you all as I am sure you get these same questions over and over again. So thank you so much for passing that along... such a huge help and I am gonna attempt it here in a few moments...
Yeah, I have read a lot about sbf'ing and some people still act like I should be worried about bricking my phone, but I have also read other places where people have stated they have yet to see a phone they couldn't get back. So I am gonna try this, and just follow it step by step so I don't screw anything up! Will let you all know how it goes. Again, I can't thank everyone enough for all the great info!!

Yea
I haven't seen anyone truly hard brick an x2
just stay away.from the mounts& storage options in BSR , and I think the only things you should touch in the advanced menu in BSR is wipe dalvik cache and battery stats...don't mess with anything else and you will be just fine brotha
Also, if there is anything you are to "embarrassed" to ask on the forum, then just shoot someone a private message my pm inbox is always open
And yes, when rooted and you are doing hacks and tweaks and such, you always have the risk of something going wrong, but like I said, never seen a truly hard bricked x2 that couldn't be fixed via sbf, ...you really gotta kinda be TRYING to brick for that to happen lol

Okay one quick question. On the link you provided the very fist download, RSD lite is not available. When you go to download it you get "Such file does not exist or it has been removed for infringement of copyrights." I went into the eclipse forum and there is mention of it being updated, but that is all I can find. Do you know where else I could get this file?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22117008&postcount=135
Someone else asked same question other day
that link shows my response
Also,
U said you were on stock 2.3.4 right?
you won't need to sbf if you are, just install the 2.3.5 update zip
Then root with zergrush and good to go
Unless you are just getting everything set up for just in case you need to sbf...which is a great idea also
Good luck

Yes, thats exactly what I was doing. I wanted to make sure I had everything just in case something went wrong. Just figured it would be good to have everything all set But thanks again... much appreciation!
Miui is my rom of choice when it's in full release candidate polish, and maybe eventually Ace's Miui4DX2 will get there. In the meantime, there's a battery-eating wakelock issue, app-by-app sound issues (sound sometimes just doesn't work), and some kind of rendering issue that slows Netflix/certain games/MX Video and various other media apps to a 1 frame per minute crawl. There's also an issue where wifi drops out periodically and doesn't reconnect unless you prompt it (or install a service like "Wi Fi Fixer" that toggles it for you).
So until Ace releases a better beta (which could be as soon as tomorrow, or as late as never), I'd count Miui out as a daily driver.
CM7 as a rom is great--not quite as pretty as Miui (and I find Miui eliminates a lot of the sloppiness in pre-ICS Android), but it is rock solid. DZK's build is an almost perfect CM7 build, except it has the same wifi connectivity issue as Ace's Miui. The advantages it offers more than compensate for the annoyance of having to run Wi-fi Fixer and every now and then waiting for wi-fi to reconnect.
I'm running CM7 on my DX2 and am quite happy with it. I'll give Miui another shot if there's another release (and I'm excited to see how DZK's CM9 runs), but CM7 is likely to be the best daily driver for the X2 for at least another month or two
Eclipse is Blur based (so it has the advantage of functional HDMI), but suffers from the slowdowns/choppiness/audio tearing when multitasking we all know Blur brings. Nitro did a good job of cutting Blur's visual crap out, and he built in a few useful scripts.
Eclipse is definitely better than stock, but if you're gonna go through the trouble of rooting and rom-ing, I'd go with CM7. There's also the issue jsgraphicart mentioned about 2.3.5 vs 2.3.4 requiring a couple extra SBFs if you ever want to switch to something else.

Well hrmm, now you got me thinking about CM7 again, lol. I am in the process of downloading the Eclipse files and maybe I will look into CM7 some more before I proceed. Honestly, I am not at all concerned with the HDMI issue, as I rarely use it... but with that being said can you tell me any more issues with CM7 that would turn off a user from making it their daily rom? if no HDMI is the only issue, that is not a deal breaker for me...

I had issues with apps sometimes hanging and having to kill them. Also, Super User would sometimes forget an app already had the permissions to run as root. Sometimes, I'd have to go into the application manager and tell it to stop the application and try again and then it would get the SU permissions.
With Eclipse, I've have never had this problem. Again, it just shows how Eclipse is much more stable.
As it is, I don't know how much farther Dragonzkiller will stick with CM7 since he's working on CM9 right now. He's been so busy trying to get CM9 out that any more development/enhancing of CM7 and curing the SU and hanging process issues seems to have stopped at this point. But, not pointing the blame at DKZ as he's one busy dude with CM9.
However, Nitro is constantly busy working on Eclipse and not just for the X2. He also does it for the Bionic, RAZR, Galaxy Nexus, and Droid Charge. I don't know how he does it!
Great points. Thanks for the info. I tried to thank your post, but being new I did not know I was limited to 8 thanks per day, lol. But I wanted to let you know I appreciated the feedback!

[q] so what can i do with this phone?

My sister just upgraded to a razr, so i snagged her x2. My daily driver is an inc2, but I thought this might be fun to play with. Is there anything that can actually be done to this? Doesn't seem like there are a lot of roms floating around for it. Am I stuck with motoblur? Is this destined to be an angry birds platform for my kids?
I don't need hand holding about how to mod, i'm running an early CM9 kang of ICS on my inc2, I would just like to know what the options are, what's recommended, or what should be shied away from. I've not used a motorola phone before, and know they're a bit tricky on the mod side.
I've tried liberty and eclipse on my gf's bionic. Both solid roms. Could probably theme them. The Cm7 looks like it might have a few glitches but maybe they aren't dealbreakers for u.

Quite a few choices for our little "blessing" of a phone. As the others have mentioned, Eclipse and CM7 I'm pretty sure are the most current and popular right now. Ran them both, you can't go wrong either way.
Good place to start to see the options.

Cm7 or eclipse. Just remember if you go to eclipse 2.0+ you will need to update to 2.3.5
Eclipserom.com for up to date info.
Cm7 is awesome no blur at all! Only problem is HDMI is not supported.
If you want to try both on the same kernal for 2.3.4 then use eclipse 1.3 very stable and solid.
i'm very familiar with CM7. I ran that up until a week ago. Just wasn't sure it was where it was at on this phone.
CM7 for the most part is fine on this phone. I'm using it now. Biggest problem with the rom is that some have wifi issues. I do at times. For some reason it loses it's connection with the router and can't get reconnected. Some just have to turn off wifi and turn it back on to get it working again. That doesn't seem to work for me. I have better luck just going into wifi settings and clicking on the wifi connection I want. Seems to connect then. Also, from time to time apps that require root access have trouble. Sometimes when I open an app, it just shows a blank window while it waits for root access. It can be fixed by rebooting but I just press the home button, then open the superuser app and remove the problem program. Then open the program again and after allowing root access, it works fine again. Those are the only real problems I have with the rom. For me, they aren't deal breakers. I can live with them.
Otherwise, like others have said, Eclipse is a good rom. However, I myself prefer Liberty. I don't know why everybody seems to bypass it as a suggestion. When it first came out, everybody was all bent out of shape about it and what a great rom it was. Now, nobody mentions it. My guess is because there hasn't been any updates to it since it first came out. However, I myself don't really see why anybody would want any updates. It ran perfect for me. Not one ounce of trouble from it no matter what I did. I still jump back to it now. Just for a change of pace.
I haven't tried MIUI. From what I've seen, too many issues that I don't want to deal with. I could be wrong about it though, as, like I said, I haven't tried it.
Just my two cents worth.

Jelly Bean Talk

So as we all know, we now have Jelly Bean. And to not flood dragonzkillers thread with general talk about it, I thought I'd start a thread for people to come and say what they like, what they dont like, and tips and tricks they might have, cool settings in the ROM, etc. Any issues should still be posted in the other thread.
But let me go ahead and start by saying I am so amazed at how smooth and fast jelly bean is on our phone. I never thought it would run better than ICS. The built in quick reply for messaging is awesome. I actually find a lot of things I used to use getting replaced with the stock apps. The default browser is nice. I have also found that if you use Nova launcher, though, and set the animation speed and scrolling speed to a faster setting, it makes the phone feel even smother.
Anyway, I'm not gonna make this post too long. So thats all I have right now. What does everyone else think?

He'll definitely like CM10 more. A lot more stable. Do you do all his flashing for him? Meaning he's not very tech savvy? If so, there may be things he runs into that you might need to help him with. lol. SD storage is all different and some apps wont install from the play store. He might just have new things to ***** about. lol

After a few days running this ROM I can happily say that it feels like this was made for our phone...as in, it's a perfect fit and feels natural. No random reboots. A couple app freezes but they correct themselves. I've found workarounds to get the apps I needed on the phone.. the Facebook crapp....err, app is glitchy like usual but there's always friendcaster. Love the screen transition animation. Its just amazing all around.
Made a video of my first boot of cm10 for anyone who's hesitant to flash and wants to see how it is.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GVDTB4uwM3w&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I'm amazed how well it run. The only issues I have really had is the Facebook app and the Email app (for my work Exchange email) tend to be a little crashy (FB is worse than any others), but I can deal with that to have a phone I can actually use. This is my first ROM on this phone (had many on my OG Droid), but the process isn't as bad as I had anticipated.
Can't wait for him to release Alpha 2 to fix the camera and SD issues.
flashed this and i was amazed at the number of custom options as well as how smooth it actually was. however, i was plagued with having to reSBF, reroot and reflash almost everytime i reboot and i needed my phone today so i sbf'd back to 2.3.5 and restored eclipse.
hopefully alpha 2 is even more stable.

So far I love CM10. I was frequently getting frustrated with how slow my phone felt. I was last running 2.3.4 using Eclipse ROM and my phone would hang everywhere, especially waiting for the keyboard to pop up. Now everything is nice and quick. My only real complaints is that when I try to change the battery state LED options, the field to change the frequency of them is greyed out, and they are all on "always on" and the field is greyed out and I can't change them. I hate having a LED on when I'm sleeping so I had to just turn the whole setting off so now I have no LEDs for battery states.
My other complaint is how fast CM10 sucks down my battery. Under the same conditions that Eclipse on 2.3.4 would get me from morning until 9pm until depleted, my phone keeps dying at 5pm.

I like how this is going. I used it for about 2 hours then realized Netflix was still a no go and my Andygraph Ti82 calc app wouldn't load the Rom and my saved programs. That was a deal breaker. I might give alpha 3 or beta 1 another shot. Loved it for a short time. The voice call dropping needs to be fixed as well before I can use it as a daily. Reloaded my nandroid of cm 7.2. Everything still works there.
