Hello everyone,
My fiancee is running an aokp jelly bean rom on her sg2 att. Now here is the question. She really likes the rom but .... go figure...she likes the text messaging in the original the best. She liked how her sent messages where in a blue bubble
(the text in the conversation) and the response was in a yellow bubble if you follow my drift. How would i go about chaning that. Would I just have to find the messaging apk and remove it. Than install with another. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!
Try Handcent in the Play Store. You can make your messages look ANY WAY you want.

Just a quick question Im a proud owner of the s3 since wednesday and I am really happy with it. So much better than my old s2. The only problem is with text messages when using predictive I am unable to add new works, ie sware words lol ect ect. With my old s2 you can just add a new word while texting. Please can someone tell me how this is done on s3 as I have been through text settings and cant seem to find it.
Im new to this fourm so please excuse my noob question.
I am such a lemon! just tilt screen sideways and spell it yourself with the keyboard.
Try SwiftkeyX. It's the best keyboard Ive found so far for prediction.

I'm hoping this is the right place to post this.
I've just got a new Galaxy S3 and am loving it so far, but there's just one thing I'm wondering if any dev's could help with. I came from an older HTC Desire I'd rooted and was running Sandvold's ICS Beta ROM on and one of the things I really liked was being able to apply a modded MMS.apk that stopped the stock messaging app from converting a text message into an mms after 3 text messages worth of characters. I'm just wondering if there's anyone on here that's willing to create a modded version of the S3's stock messaging apk (I believe it's called SecMms.apk?) that is able to be installed on a stock S3? I'd rather hold off on rooting my new phone for a while, that's all, and it gets a little annoying when I try typing a long text message and it converts to an mms.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I want to do the same whit my s3, if u discover how to do it please tell me! :good:
why would you want to do that?
the samsung phone and contacts have a lot more functionalty
Because their UI design is horrible. I like the fullscreen phone call. Also the native sms is nasty looking.
Bump this. I want to know how too.
Hello world.
Sorry if this question has already an answer. I searched in xda a lot and I didn't find anything.
Well, I found a lot of themed MMS.apk. I don't like them, because I can't get n one app everything that I want ( by example, the ones with Sms Split doesn't have Oriinal TimeStamps and vice versa ). So I wanted to add to my CM9 MMS.apk an option to get Sms Split.
Does anyone know how to get this feature?
Thanks in advice for patience.
Bump. Would also like to know how this could be done to a stock Jelly Bean MMS.

Hey everyone. I have looked and looked and tried numerous suggestions to get emojis to work on my Us Cellular GSIII. Can anyone help?
I have rooted, installed fonts, xms files, etc. I have also installed GoSms and the emoji codec, same with handcent and Pansi. The issue I am having is I can send emojis just fine, but can not see them in any messaging app! I CAN see them in twitter (I am using the twica app). Any help would be much appriciated. I have tried and tried. I do not know what I am missing.
