Hi all,
I have rooted my XS and installed Titanium Back-up and uninstalled all the bloatware etc.
However, whenever I restart my phone these all appear again and I go through it all and uninstall them all again.
I never had this problem on my X10 and was wondering if anyone had any answers for me at all?
(Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search and found no answers on here)
what kind of bloatware did you uninstall?

Hi,
Wisepilot, Track ID, Evernote, Moxia, Astro, Play Store and most of the O2-UK bloatware they install for me plus a few others
Titanium backup seems to uninstall them and they disappear but if I let my battery empty and turn it back on after recharging they all appear again?
It's no real biggie as I can just uninstall them again but it is bloody annoying!
Running .50 (Seems Russian?)
Bootloader Unlock :No.
Rooted using flashtool

hello, i've tryed every way i could find to remove moxier quadrapop and other apps from my rooted x10i but it always says faild and i cant remove them. also can i remove them from titanium backup and how?
thank you.
Well open titanium.. if it says its rooted and everything just continue to middle tab n just uninstall whatever u want although pre-notice, there are some sly apps in there that are connected elsewhere such as mediascape, timescape, etc.. so be careful about them. read up on them before even thinking about removing them! just use search.
It will tell you if it needs busybox to check root status. allow it to download n stuff n shouldnt be long before you find out.
Titanium allows you to backup apps n certain data files so you can most likely restore them if things mess up along the way. P-s, it can't backup the stock apps tho so don't try that one. to uninstall just click on any app n hit uninstall.. simple really!
If you have the full version then id suggest using the freeze option instead of uninstalling (within the same option dialog) this is bit like uninstalling but without actually getting rid of things. useful for stock apps. if you freeze something n somehow your phone starts to crash more often then you can defrost without a prob.
Wow.. wrote soo much lol just mentioned things of top of my head! hope it helps!!

Hi all,
I am noob from Serbia . I have one question, i uninstalled some applications that come with phone installed, but after phone shut down, they install automatic on my phone.
Is there any way to stop this? or root is the only solution?
Best regards,
noob
You have to root and use titanium backup to uninstall them
But be careful with the apps that you remove, there's a thread saying which apps are safe to remove.
Thanks jpcosta, I want to remove apps like Foursqare, whatapp, uefa, mcafee antivirus. But I have 62 firmaware so its not possible to root with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346198, i think that is the most easy way.
Cheers
Yep this i the most eazy way to root 2011xperias,all you neet to do is reflash the previus firmware which is .058 you can do this whith wotanserver.
My android is causing some problems. I am planning to factory restore my phone.
I have a few questions...
I have purchased lots of apps from Google play store. I do not want all the apps to be downloaded. How can I prevent all apps from getting downloaded to my phone?
There is a firmware upgrade waiting to be installed right now. is it possible to delete the firmware? I do not want to put that on my phone....
Re-downloading Apps
It has been my experience that only those apps that were actually installed on the phone are automatically re-downloaded. So, you could go to Settings, Apps, ALL, and uninstall those apps that you don't want to be downloaded after you restore. It might also be good to reboot after uninstalling, and before restoring.

How about purchased apps? I do not have any purchased apps installed on my phone (just purchased). I do not want them to be downloaded.
Is it possible to delete Google Hangouts from my phone completely?
I don't use it, nor will I ever use it, so why does it have to be on my phone? I am so sick of having it pop up in Play Store reminding me to update it, when I don't even use it. I would rather it be deleted from my phone so I will never be prompted to update it again. The saddest part is they must know what a complete dud this app is as they've removed the uninstall tab on the play store page (well for me its removed and I can't uninstall it from the play store) but they sure as hell like to remind me the bloody thing needs updating ...
Could someone please advice the best method to rid my phone of this nuisance.
Thx
You can uninstall it with titanium back up as long as you are rooted but I'd freeze it first to be safe. Don't think you can uninstall it without root

with root you can uninstall it via rootexplorer or search here for aromafile manager, with this you can delete it in recovery, just flash aromafile man zip in cwm and go to system/apps and delete it,exit filemanager and reboot, done.
I've searched for google hangouts via rootexplorer and titanium and its not listed. Is it installed under a different name?
Thx

Thanks for the reply, when rooted, how do i remove the adware?
My phone is rooted but apps still open randomly
there is an app that installs the adds-apps silently. if the phone is rooted, get a terminal emulator and type:
pm disable com.adups.fota
pm uninstall com.adups.fota
this wont disable the adds-apps which are installed already. i got rid of all these apps by making a factory reset and after that rooting and disabling com.adups.fota
