AS the thread title suggests, is there a way in disable auto rotate? First off, I have the auto rotate feature disabled under the general system settings and the only app that seems to still auto rotate is the youtube application which is annoying.
I have tried the various apps that say they can program the individual apps to disable autorotate.
I am running A GS3 with Android Revolution HD 12.0 + v6 supercharger.
Thanks

Hi guys, i've got a problem with my new prime.
At first display was switching in homescreen as well as in all apps e.g. market or google maps, however since yesterday it won't switch and yes the auto switch option in the settings is checked.
But the funny thing is gyroscope works fine in games and i can switch the display in google maps, and then e.g. landscape view is kept for all other apps too.
Tried checking/unchecking auto switch in settings, reboot etc but still won't work, so anybody has a solution in mind?
Running ICS 4.0.3.11
Curious, as I find it rather annoying and rather pointless to have.
[Q] News & Weather Stock App - Rooted v1.4.3
I have not found a permanent way to disable the lock screen. There are several apps in the app store that will temporarily do it, I use a widget app called Widgetsoid where that is one of the controls you can set to have on the screen. I have found that the OS turns it back on at random intervals.
If you use CM7 there is an option in the settings to turn off the lock screen though.
I want to enable auto rotation in apps like message (mms.apk) and contacts without using any app.
I know decompiling, recompiling.
Is it in any xml?
Please guide me to it
I use the app Ultimate Rotation Control to force apps in landscape mode.
This app requires Accessibility Service to be enabled but every time I turn the screen off this is disabled again.
What could be the cause of this?
Accessibility Service is also enabled for Nova Launcher and this stays enabled.

Click to collapse
Huawei rom closes any app which is not protected(see settings>protected apps) when screen is turned off. Whenever a app is closed, its accessibility setting is disabled again.
Try setting protection for URC on.
PS: every time you boot device, you may have to set accessibility on again. Not sure about this though.
Thanks, that worked!
Hi
Anyone know of any settings in Android source code to disable 'Do Not Disturb Mode'?
It is enabled on every boot and then the launcher and no app has sound until I disable it.
It also seems if I use certain launchers(some Leanback ones) then all apps have no sound until I disable it.
But mostly with phone launchers, 'Do Not Disturb' is also enabled(but not fully), moving around in the launcher has no sound but all other apps have sound then.
This problem is on Android Media players running Android 10.
