Hello everyone.
I would want to send text messages to my clients using my laptop and while using my laptop I want my own cellphone number should be used.
Please suggest a method. Have tried Mightytext but it didn't work well for me. The numbers wont get synced nd all
Any other method or app is highly appreciated.

There's a handful out there.. but these are the most notable and known apps:
- MightyText
- mysms
- BrowserTexting
- AirDroid (It can do much more.)

It's self explanatory once you run it. Just input the address supplied by AirDroid in your laptop's browser (usually your IP add: + port 8888) then input passcode (also supplied by AD). :good:

you can connect it via wifi/mobile data you have to create an account and then you link it... the app has instructions, just follow them

Hi i have installed wireless tether and its connecting to my laptop also. But in the access control section, its not showing ny connected clients. M also not able to use internet on my pc. Is anyone else facing this issue.

I'm forced to do everything from phone for a time, because my PC is in service.
I'm using Opera Mobile, but I guess 2.2+ Default browser can do it, too.
When you're about to post reply, in the additional options there's a button 'Manage Attachments'. There you can attach files.
Ah i use the app ,but if I press more and then web view and then reply I can do it.

I agree whatsapp seems better... But my 1 year free trial is gonna expire soon. Heard some extended for free, maybe then I will change.

last time i checked the charge after the free trial was less than one British pound so seems reasonable considering how much i use it.

@providence...you can't, because after you exit the call log, the settings reset, and the sms log apears again.

Yes this would actually do the job.
The problem i hav with handcent sms is that it does not get the facebook photos of joined contacts

Wouldn't that stop you from being notified of new msgs?
I personally feel BBM is no longer relevant and that blackberry was too late... Of course, it is still nice to have an option especially for those with friends on blackberry.
