the main thing to look at is the EMMC partitions in the updaterscript.. the sensations partitions are different than the 3d's.. so it may wipe and install the information to a different partition than it should for the 3d to work properly.. plus you would need to change the build.prop to be for the 3d and not for the sensation.. the sensation in the prop is pyramid, the 3d is usually shooter (gsm shooter may be a different name)..

Is ICS for sensation released? here i found some Rom for sensation but i'm not sure it has 4.0 with sense 3.5.

Yes it has been released devs have been porting it for the EVO 3d but still waiting for the HTC release for 3d

Im pretty sure it has NOT been released officially for them. They have been getting a few leaks over there for their phone of it but thats it.
Are there any good custom Tom's that have excellent battery life? I'm on GSM model

Your best bet is to go to the GSM Development forum and check out the ROM threads. Ask about battery life within the threads and you will surely get some answers.
And you putting you question about ROMs into general section because...?

Normally, cdma for US Carrier, gsm for UK and asia, thats what i know

With working wifi and camera...
I would say devil toast 0.71 it has everything working fine and fast except for 3D make sure u are s off to be able to boot the rom hit the thanks button if i helped
