Hi guys,
Im wondering, what You think about pulled down notification bar in games or another fullscreen apps like in iphone?
When You receive notif while You play it would be great to just drag from the top and notification bar will show up.

Howdy
I'm constantly modding my android and had an idea the other day. I think I'd be best to make the status bar disappear or hide it. I have a custom Rom that allows that but I want the option of still being able to swipe down to check it.
What's the best to hide the status bar but still be able to swipe down to check it?
Thanks !

Apex launcher can do this.

Try a custom launcher. Nemus launcher lets you hide the bar and reshow it by swiping down.

try GMP from market it allows you to set specific gesture for an action.
You can set a gesture of your choice to hide status bar, and it will work no matter where you are or running on your phone
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII

Great I use apex but Where? I found the option to hide the status bar but that won't let my swipe down to access it. It gets rid of it completely.

Any of you guys able to provide a link to a no0b friendly guide to modifying framework to hide status bar permanently i.e; within apps not just on home? I'm using kk and most guides seem to be ics and jb.

How to edit toggles in notification bar in leaken Sammy JB?
I don't think you can. Unless you wanna build a new rom. Widgetsoid from the play store is a nice alternative. Although I haven't used it on the new jb leak yet.

ROM - Paranoid Android By ByteCode.
Sent via XDA App.
I installed and I liked it - for a day. On day 2 it started an update that was not a normal Play Store update. There were download notifications in chinese. Seems really suspucious epsecially considering where it was developed. Also the support web site is all chinese rendering it useless to a lot of people. Beware.
Guess u tried updating from the in-app update option.
I update only via google play hence did not come across this issue.

Windoss 8 style launcher is more boring.
Windoss 8 style is more boring, but not bad WP8 launcher... nice:good:
Used it for about hour and restored to Trebuchet... This is good for bigger phones (screen size OFC).
Have any of you experienced a lot of lag with this launcher? I'm used to launchers like nova and trebuchet that are nice and smooth while this one seems to be choppy. I like it a lot though

Hello, I have recently upgraded to android 4.4 kitkat, and I know that the battery icon is not able to be themed, and I see alot of battery widgets in the play store that put an icon on the status bar but you can move the icon to where the stock icon is, and sadly I do not know how to develop such an app, so my question is, is there anyone skilled enough an nice enough to help me with this?, thank you
