Hi all,
I want to backup my data with the Kies first before I can root it, but I find some difficulties with it (pls refer to the screen captures). I have tried to restart my phone, reinstall Kies and restart and whatever, it simply doesn't work. Can anybody help? Thanks a million!

have u tried with an updated version of 'KIES', if not try and see

I have a Samsung GT-S5820 China mobile made running android 2.3.6, before, I have successfully rooted this device, and days later I update its baseband to a higher version using Odin. And now try to root it again, but here's an error.

I check the root checker and it states only busybox has installed.
I've googled every way of rooting any android device but sadly nothings work.
the question is.. How can I wipe data/cache/ etc that native recovery mode can perform. Because according to some chinese website, this phone has no recovery mode as it is a customized model of samsung device.
or does anyone here knows how to solve this problem? I'd be so thankful if you can help me. Thanks

Hi can anybody help me to resolve this problem. i already rooted my phone a few weeks ago. then last night Im forget to unroot that phone and i just make soft restore for my phone. after that my phone stuck and cannot open only has a samsung logo. i already try to hard restore that phone but it also unsuccessful. here image of my phone after i try to hard restore it. it also said unable to recovery. i hope someone can help me to solve this problem.:crying:

Hi, I am no expert, but what works for me when I had a similar brick was to re-root the phone using this method:

or try using TWRP Recovery with odin (no root required):

Are you on the same Build Number? If not, then most likely it'd be a different method.
I checked and it's the exact same build number. I tried like every program there is to root it but none worked so far. Can u help me? ( us)

If that doesn't work, then follow the link to recoveries in #85 and use a custom recovery to install the newest SuperSU zip from Chainfire. I need really help from you. As soon as I start Whatsapp I get an Error. I've added a picture of it to this post. It's German and says something like ,,There was a problem with your whatsapp Chats. Don't worry, you can restore them from your backup. Otherwise you can skip this , but you will lose your chats". This weren't a bit thing , but the problem is no matter if I select restore from backup oder skip this , I have to verficiate my phone number. The problem is I locked my sim card 2 years ago , and I'm not able to unlock it. I got this error a few times already, but it always helped to delete some things to get more space. This time it didn't work. Can any of you help me ?

I installed twrp
I made a full data wipe, but it givee errors
I tried to install no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip but got error also
finally i installed magisk, with no errors
Root checker says that root is ok.
Sometimes phone reboot for nl reason
Do i need to redo the entire operations ? And how to avoid these errors (i tried 3 times with same result)
