You're a bit stressed you, right?
Why make another thread?
You can't post in your other thread? Especially to ask 10 times the same thing!
It's getting worse, even in the Q&A section..., you can't make an effort???

Are amoled not 100% equal in all SIII??
Because my friend also has same phone, his phone screen is ok..

How long will you keep asking the same question over and over again?
There is a certain production tolerance. If you feel unhappy with your screen, return it and demand for replace.
If not, stay with it.
But for f*cks sake stop trolling everyone in here!

They are not repairing because there is nothing broken.
Whether or not you choose to believe that, you have nowhere else to go now so just get on and enjoy your phone instead of looking for non-existent flaws.

I looked at my HTC Amaze and I don't see the same 3 dots that are in your picture. Maybe my tint is darker to hide them but my guess is that they still exist.

I don't have them either, i tried all different kinds of light,
to be honest, they look kinda good on the phone. lol
or is it just me?
im not even gonna bother returning it.
I bought this phone since very first day it came out. I have them lol and I actually like them cuz look cool I wouldnt call it design flaw
Inspecting the phone even more I found two dead pixels and the phone doesn't vibrate at all. It's faulty, I even downloaded the vibrator app on the market. Lol.

Extreme Nitpick Alert! You were warned!

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone here could confirm a small, miniscule, almost-non-existent issue I found with this beautiful device. The left (Menu) touch button seems to be every-so-slightly faded compared to the right (Back) touch button. I haven't been able to find any pictures, or take a picture of mine (no camera around at the moment) to show what I mean. It's almost ridiculous that I am spending my time and energy in typing about this, but I would just like to know if this is normal and not something that is unique to mine. Besides, I think it gives it a bit of a personality (like Nemo and his fin).
Unique to yours.

i have this "problem" on my S2.. not on the s3. So.. it happens
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Not even sure what you mean to be honest.
Do you mean the light is dimmer?
I haven't noticed any issues in any case. I don't think I'd really care. I'm more inclined to worry about signs I've used it! (microscopic scratches that you can't see from anything but the most obscure of angles etc.)

And using the front camera to take a picture in a mirror won't work because....? Use your imagination.
I'm not actually endorsing that (though the front camera is actually not bad, so it could work with enough light), and I'm sure that's not what was meant by that post, but if you're gonna be a **** about it...

Well considering the problem is one button is slightly faded compared to the other and the lackluster FFC, I wouldn't assume that would produce anything useful. I said a picture with clarity.
It was an honest question. Obviously he can use the FFC but he is talking about something so slight it likely won't be captured with the FFC.

I know I know. I was replying solely to the quoted comment.
About that post anyway, I'm just hoping whoever (s)he is, is trying to make some sort of sarcastic statement about semantics, since the original post said "no camera around" as opposed to "no other camera around". I'm hoping that's what the post's intention was.

yes this is an issue and it also exists in my phone. i got my first S3 and it had lots of glue marks on the screen and the menu led was placed a bit above where it should be causing its light to come on the screen from inside of the scree. i got that set changed with a new one and now rest of the issues are gone but yes the menu led is a bit faded.

Thank you for keeping this thread on-topic. Yeah, it doesn't bother me at all. Just thought I'd inquire.

Galaxy S3 issues?

I'm thinking of getting the S3 again for the rom/root. I dont want to unlocked my HTC One X with HTCDev because I do not wish to void warranty . So I was wondering are there any issues that I should look out for when getting a SGS3? I read the general section and I didnt see any.

Well most of the physical issues include some black spots/marks on the screen when switched off(apparently prevalent in all a amoled screens, slight heating at the bottom and physical faults with the body. Can't remember some of the others. Quite frankly I haven't encountered any problems with mine. The phone is a bit fragile though so handle with care. Best thing is to examine the phone properly for factory faults when buying it

Are they visible on low brightness? Or do you need to be on a pitch black screen in a very dark room.

Nah it doesn't seem to be as visible as you think. Like I said best thing is to thoroughly examine the phone before buying. I didn't examine it when I bought but I ended up with a good set =p

Well before the one x and galaxy nexus I used to just buy a phone without thinking. Now I'm constantly looking for defects in phones :/
Well you just need to look for factory faults with the s3. The only real problems are software related which can or will eventually be fixed

My S3 has been amazing. No issues here.

Touchwood no issues either. Loose volume rocker is not so great but you dont notice it inside a cover.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
I know im voiding my warranty with samsung but I can easily make it look like I never touched the phone you cant with HTCDev.
Any banding on white/grey images? Like the galaxy nexus. This is generally on low brightness.
While I love my S3, I still think the screen sucks VS one X or iPhone 4s. Pentile is pentile I guess, because in the text it is very noticeable.
That being said, it is still the phone I'd choose at the moment. I don't trust the One X hardware quality long term.
Is the black dots that are on the screen the same thing as on the Galaxy Note known as "Black Crush"??
No I think black crush is something to do with the display being dark in videos. I'm not sure.

Full brightness battery drain

Has anyone else noticed that when they have full brightness enabled it seems to use more battery power even when the screen is off
Obviously I realize there will be higher consumption when the screen is on
But how can this effect the screen off time

going to SGS4 launch, what do you want me to find out?

hey all, so ill most likely be driving down to the SGS4 event (as long as my boss lets me take the day off work lol). so I figured I'd ask my home section here on xda what you guys want me to find out. most tech sites will prolly cover the main stuff, hw specs and all that. I mean ill get all that stuff too, but ask me about stuff they prolly won't check.
@supercurio you want me to check any sound stuff? <- lol someone pass that along
anyways ill make a list, and update it on here on what all you guys care about me checking out. i figure if I get the list started now I can do whatever necessary prepwork.

If it's possible could you look for ink spots if using AMOLED or colour tints? Possible black crush test would be handy too.
Not sure if this is at all possible at such an event but would be cool to know
Battery matters, would you check how long you can watch videos from YouTube on 4G with max brightness please? Cheers
