You don't load ROMs in Odin, you load them in ClockworkMod Recovery.
Download ROM Manager from Market, Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
Then install .zip from sdcard.
I recently rooted & flashed custom rom (CM 9) on my Optimus L3.Then i wanted to flash it back to stock after i got bored of the ICS rom, and followed a KDZ Updater guide, and now my device is bricked. If i try to turn it on, it will boot loop forever. The KDZ proccess was perfect, i had no errors (atleast i think i dont).I really need help to save my phone.
Used Windows7, had LG PC Suite IV Installed, i disabled LG Modem, I was in Emergency mode, .kdz used *V10H_00*.

I also tried LGMDP, but it doesn't recognize my phone, since i somehow can't manage to install the drivers correctly since it can't boot..
format your phone by going into stock recovery.. i guess you can make it if you are getting your phone to bootloader

So I have a Android Warp ZTE on kitkat 4.4 that I rooted with kingroot. I tried to overwrite the kernal with a rom manager by selecting the flash recovery option. I flashed it with a ROM that was not a recovery img so it just ended up overwriting it and now I cant boot into recovery and my phone is bricked. I try putting it into different boot modes but if these are stored in the kernel then trying is pointless because it was deleted when I flashed. I was able to hold down the power button to get the red light to flash but now if I try again there is no red light. If there anysoftware that could flash my kernel so I can bot into recovery and install a ROM onto my phone? Its bricked I cant do **** with it. I tried Stliaz and some other unbrick tool but they do not detect my phone. I assume this is because there is no recovery on my phone anymore
Hello everyone. First of all I need to emphasize that I'm currently in an english couse so if you find some mistakes in my writing, you'll know why.
The reason I'm here today asking for your help is that I recently bought a second hand SGS3 and the volume up doesn't work and I want to enjoy my phone the way it has to be enjoyed, so i've been searching how can I reboot the phone into recovery mode via cmd, and I did it, but now I need to know how can i root my phone with the stock recovery, because I can't find nothing that use that stock recovery, all is with odin or a different recovery, I've seen that philz recovery it's installed via stock R or something like that, but I don't know which version to install. I have an S3 I9300 with 4.3
You can use a USB jig to force the phone into download mode and then flash cfautoroot with Odin.
You need download mode to root. Once in download mode you need to flash chainfire autoroot (i9300 version) via odin on a pc, then you can flash an official clockwork recoverymod recovery to your phone via odin. Reboot the phone and your done.

Another way to do this is to flash another OS like CyanogenMod via Odin.
But at first you'll have to convert the CyanogenMod installer zip to a file that can be flashed via Odin. CyanogenMod allows you to reboot to recovery directly from the OS using the reboot menu that's built in.
Hi guy, so i was trying to flash stock rom for the h930 back from using boombox using lgup and now the phone keep booting to twrp and just stuck at the teamwin logo. Really need some help :crying:.
If you were flashing back to stock from a custom ROM , how do still you have TWRP?
You should have flashed stock via DL partition mode or refurbish. You would not have TWRP.
You need to go back into download mode manually and reflash stock completely.
After that, then you can reinstall TWRP.
