Maybe you mean it depends on your Mobile Operator!
Anyway, if you have a mobile operator, like mine, which has HSDPA+ radio cell up to 42Mbps where you live and you test your Internet speed against a server which is inside your mobile operator's network...well...worth testing internet mobile speed indeed!

I'd be luckier if the mobile operators didn't charge so much in my country lol

So after rooting and messing around with different roms and such, I installed an app called network that has been mentioned on here, to see about switching to 3G easily while at work.
Well I started noticing that the phone couldn't keep a 4G signal at all anymore, but didn't put 2 and 2 together because of some of the other stuff I had done, mainly flashing through 3 different roms in 45 mins.
Well I unrooted my phone, and got it exchanged today because of some terrible back light bleeding, that thankfully my new phone doesn't have, and rerooted the phone, restored all my apps on Mik Rom, and BAM, 4G goes screwy out of nowhere. So I looked through everything and the only networking type app I had was Network. I uninstalled it, and now instead of 998 ping and .5 d/l speeds I am averaging somewhere near 14 down and 71 ping.
Only change was that app. Anyone else have this issue after installing that app? Or if you are having 4G issues, and have this app, UNINSTALL IT!
just thought I'd throw it out there, considering it was making me really mad.
Just tested it myself and it's all good here.

Did you make changes in the network app?
The app is designed to DISABLE 4g. So if you made changes then yeah you would lose 4g.
Im sure this isnt the case, but wanted to mention it just in case.
I use mine to disable 4g since im not in a 4g Area but it works fine this way. But then again my 4g cant go screwy because it doesn't exist.

Hmmm... I notice your speedtest app actually showing an accurate upload (compared to the double digits people used to post. Is this an updated version? Speedtest had acknowledged inaccurate reporting on the TB.
Has anyone else noticed slow 3G upload speeds on this device or is it just me?
I went by the TMO store and tested a couple of devices there including the Optimus T and Motorola Defy and the Optimus got similar results to my phone. However the Defy tripled the upload speeds.

You know ... I never really understand , but why exactly do you need high upload speeds on a phone? Download , even a toddler understand , but upload? It's not like you're gonna sit while in 3G with torrents active to seed .
And as far as uploading a bunch of small videos and pictures to facebook , it's more than respectable a speed of over 100k

I don't see how that's relevant, but it becomes important when I'm tethering the device to my laptop or any other devices.
The point if the post is that HSUPA is not enabled for my device and I'm trying to determine if that is common across all of the Optimus T devices out there or if it's the small sampling that I have had access to.
The MyTouch3G that this device replaced was able to do 1.2Mbit uploads in the same locations that I'm hitting a 300kbit wall. This device is loads better than the MT3G in all but this one aspect.
lgoptimus t/one/p500 does not support HSUPA. thts the probable reason why u get low upload speeds.the device only supports HSDPA at7.2Mbps
I have tried almost all the roms on the net for my gsm EVO 3D, the best one I liked the most definitely that comes with sense 3.5 but they all have a lot of bugs, restart, no gps, WiFi problems, non 3D support etc... Even with romeus ROM I was glad it supports Arabic but it was not so stable and drain battery. I discovered that the best 2 roms are leedroid and insertcoin right now I am using leedroid v2 with kernel 1.0, my question is such better this one or insertcoin, where I also need something to get better battery life and if it support Arabic it will be great, this pic is from my current ROM so is it good or I can have even better ???

Hi everybody, im hhere to request an app who can crack WEP or WPA networks, i searched in google but with no results, i have a Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 with overcome 10. Honeycomb 3.1
(Sorry if my english it isnt good)
Cracking WEP means getting the network key of a wireless network.
Isn't this illegal?

Not quite. (;
I didn't know you could crack networks with mobile devices.

It can be, it can be greyish, or it can be legal. It depends.
Edit: its best to assume its illegal , unless you know for sure its legal ( like if you are cracking your own WiFi)
If you find something (not illegal), let us know.
So you want to steal other people's bandwidth and hack into their networks?

Um, if someone has their WiFi network secured, it's NOT public and unless they give you the passkey, you're not entitled to hack into it to use it.

This is exactly right.
If it's not your network and you don't know the password, clearly you're not supposed to be using it.
