Where's My Car?
Hello guys! I recently made an android app and I would like to have some people test it out!
Remember, I am only a junior developer and made this today. This is my very first app. I hope you will put that into consideration. :angel:
To install:
Turn on your computer and download the APK file to your computer (attached at bottom of post).
Connect your android device to your computer.
Remember to allow non-market apps to be installed. You can enable this in your phone's settings.
Turn on your phone's USB connectivity.
Open the phone's files and go to the folder labeled "downloads".
Open the folder and drag the APK into the folder.
Disconnect your phone from USB mode and unplug.
Go to your "download(s)" folder and click on the APK.
Allow it to install, and you are done!

I hate it when you go to the mall, and with such a vast parking lot, you have to remember which section you parked in and EVERYTHING.
Just cut a few minutes of that off with the app. All done! :laugh:

After installation you'll find the tool here: Start -> Settings -> System.
If you like it, great. If not, never mind. It's beta.
So please use it on your own risk. I tested it using the Emulator and my P525 and it worked fine.
Note: When you click on Adjust to Background you have to wait a few seconds since analyzing the background image takes some time.

ok, it has been downloaded almost 50 times and there's no feedback. And no feedback means either its total crap or there's just nothing to say about it. Both are kind of unlikely.

Simple but good. All I test works.
71 downloads... maybe nowbody find out that the tool is found under "Settings", "Einstellungen", "..."

does not display correctly on a 240x240 SQVGA screen. Please see attachment.
it's a good tool for much setting in my touch..but the "color" what change? i don't see any difference

BelowItems that are not working when pressed. Gives a "System cannot find the path
specified" error message.

Hi, when I install some apps in the extended rom they didn't work. For example I try to install the Kevtetris and dind't work. In the original Nitro I don't have this problem.

By the way, may I know what software is it that puts the battery status (on top of the screen) as well as the launcher in your ROM ? It looks pretty cool...

I tried the ddms method/latest sdk, it did not work on my NC with HC.
does this work on cm7?

I haven't tried the suggest application, but I've ran on that platform (HC v4 2nd edition on eMMC), CM7 SD Boot v.33, and currently on NookieComb v.01. I've used an app that requires a rooted device, you can grab it from the Market, it's called "ShootMe", it worked on all 3 different platforms for me. The picture is saved on a new folder it creates for itself on SD, folder name "ShootMe". Hope that helps, good luck!

It don't work on Gtablet running CM7. I know this isn't the gtab forum, but I know a lot of folks have a gtab and a nook color also so I was just giving all a heads up to save 'em from going through a purchase then a refund like I had to do.

Could you please send me a logcat in debug mode so i can solve this issue?
What you need to do is:
1. Download aLogcat from the market
2. Tick "Debug mode" in Screenshot ER
3. Run aLogcat
4. Reproduce your error in Screenshot ER
5. Go into aLogcat and pause
6. Use the share menu to send the resulting text either to [email protected] or via PM here at XDA

Somebody has been tested some ROM CM10, AOKP, or AOSP-based, Example: RootBox v3.x or major, and know how do appear the STK (SIMToolKit) in drawer apps and that it work!... and additionally share your experience for I can do in my smartphone (SGS 3).

Hi everyone,
I reading many things on internet, and I found that this bug was inyected for jelly bean update 4.2, see Issue 40661.
Here I describe the solution, it work fine for me on RootBox v4.1 !!!
Steps:
1. Ensure that Stk.apk is in '/System/app' path, and that it has permission correct ( rw--r--r--)
2. Take a moment for determine and ensure the PUK code of your SIM card.
3. Set your phone in airplane mode.
4. Enable Sim pin lock in Settings --> Security --> Set up SIM card lock --> Check: Lock SIM card (try 3 times until to lock your phone).
5. Set your PUK code and here set the new sim lock code 2 times.
6. Reboot your phone.
7. When phone start up, turn off airplane mode and wait that appear carriers label (That your phone have signal).
8. In your app drawer must be Sim Toolkit.

Ok guy. In order to stop your annoying spam attacks in all AOSP threads I gonna tell you this:
Use temasek's Rom. I have the STK, I can use it, I have it in my drawer, and I want you to stop spamming NOW!

See that? That right there is why you don't ask what ROM to use - everybody has different opinions. Try them yourself

He asked for a Rom which includes STK. Temasek's does, for sure and tested by me.
He does not want to know the "best rom" at any point. And I confirm his loved STK is in the mentioned Rom.
