Isn't that what you are looking for?
Maybe in newer version of Eclipse they would have changed that. I guess Android application project is same.

There are 2 versions, but both are pretty unstable. Just check the development section. If I were you, I'd use AOKP which is far more stable.

Android Open Kang Project. It is based on AOSP and it has same features that are in cm, but also some options that are not in cm. Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1793938
You should use it, if you have adb installed. If not, just install [email protected]

Very true. I'll want to try this when I get myself a nexus 7. Apparently it has been ported to that device.

Isn't it basicly a Linux distro?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Yes. except it's minimalistic and super quick.
All it really is, is the chrome browser. But it's the only Linux distro that can play Netflix, except for Android that is.

Maybe we can try and get a port once they updated the Ubuntu for touchpad with new kernel and stuff

That would be awesome, and I think with the new kernel work Linux OS's should be a lot better with stability.

Possible, but I don't see the point since Android already has Chrome and many more apps than ChromeOS which is made for webapps only.

The amount of ram is not a problem. The fact that Samsung haven't open-sourced the drivers required for ICS I'd the biggest issue

Either that or find some drivers from other devices that work with the 4.2

which player do you have 3.6, 4.0, 4.2, 5.0? the root methods vary depending on the player, also is it the US (all capacitive keys) or International (physical home button) as this can also effect rooting method.
If you have 2.3.6 you cant root..you will have to flash custom kernel to unlock and then root
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
I have the 5.0 and can you point me in the direction to do that.

No need for those words. I suggest you try RJ's Kernel. It's rooted, and it works for me. More like 2-in-1 so you can have a new kernel and also a rooted device. Good luck!

dude if you don't have any clue the difference between rooting and a kernel then maybe you shouldn't be doing anything to your player at all, so don't get all pissed off when someone tells you to use google.
