Stock Xperia launcher (or ra3al's or serajr's). I don't mind using other launcher esp. I want to use Holo Launcher or the new ADW Launcher. The problem is that I can't use the Xperia widgets on other launchers.

Yeah, Sony stock launcher is always the best! :highfive:
well... i'm using trebuchet... <--- pool it out from FXP CM9.1 ROM if you don't know where to get it... ^^
although features are not as good as nova or apex. one thing for sure, desktop dont lag or frame skip!
new stock launcher is a no go for me. i'm too used to get to setting using menu button instead of pooling down the bar to access it.
Love Nova, tried all ics launchers and found this to be the best
now im using Launcher7 Pro which is good for me atm.
Atom launcher... its the best

APex is good Ex L is good NOva i clumsy but Work too ,I prefer Apex as most ICS/Jelly beanish!
Nova is by far the best, beats stock by miles. Those who prefer stock haven't tried anything else for more than 1min. Only downside is that you can't use Sony widgets but... I never did.

Using Nova at the moment, but the only reason I don't use stock is no support for gestures.

Go launcher, adw launcher and STOCK FOR WIDGET only!! I love more performance in launcher! So, i think adw is best!!

Launcher 7 is cool too.
actually for me: Zeam laucher, Xperia active Stock mod , Nemus laucher and LewaOS Laucher
Which rom are you using? When I was on GingerDx and GingerJHv5 Launcher Pro Plus was the best for me (free version is pretty good too, you don't need to buy it ) and now on ICS I use Apex Launcher, it's very fast, but it works only on ICS.
The worst for me on GB were ADW Launcher and on ICS Trebuchet Launcher.

I'm using sslauncher. It's free, fast, versatile. You can go as far as your imagination can with customization. And it's fast (did i say that?) and frequently updated (once every 2weeks i think). Try it. I can't go back to other launchers since i found this one...it's just too...perfect.

Thanks
Btw i still use the stock launcher. I really like the sony widgets. Sometimes i try a different launcher but after some minutes i switch back to the default one.

Yeah, 2 years ago, when I was using it, Launcher Pro was one of the best launchers. But now, it is still the same because it has not been updated for 1 year.
Still with stock launcher after 3 years and 3 Xperias

Stock Xperia!!:highfive:
Yeah, I love Xperia Home, too. It is probably the nicest launcher out there and it is also pretty fast with no lags.
In my view, Sony makes the most beautiful interface among all Android manufactures, while they keep the feel of the vanilla Android. Maybe their updates take a little bit longer but they are very well optimized and bring some additional features unlike Samsung, who keep the interface same and just update it to the newer version.

Sony is very original (design, ui, apps, Cosmic Flow, Floating Touch, White Magic etc.) and yet everything is absolutelly beautiful unlike Samsung, who copies almost everything from Apple (design, ui-touchwiz, s voice.....) and guess what....everything is ugly and worse. Sony also updated all of its 2011 phones, when tried to offer all of their features. Samsung offers new features only to their new Galaxy S series, when you have lower end phone and get update for GB to ICS it still looks the same. It is sad that they still hold most of the market, I wish Sony had more market share than Samsung because they try hard and they really deserve it.
Also what no one seems to notice but sony was the first to use the look of the notification draw icon in the middle with two apps either side of it. This interface was then adopted my google in the stock version of ICS and now other manufacturers have skinned their ICS skin to this look as well (HTC one series for example)
Is there any way to decrease the RAM usage of the default launcher of xperia mini??
Do u use the official Facebook and Google Maps apps? If not, u can uninstall these two with root uninstaller (provided that u hav root access). These two eat a lot of the RAM

Decrease the number of widgets on your home screen.. and if u want a smoother launcher use apex launcher it's smoother than sony home and takes smaller size on ram.. Although I'm using sony home

I love sony launcher and I am using Xperia GX launcher with home preferences. I supercharged my xperia neo v using "V6SuperCharger" script and my launcher runs as smooth as never before.
Try to supercharge your device and make your launcher smoother, and lag-free

Very customizable, a lot of themes and fast
Sorry for my bad English

Give a try for Next launcher.
I used to use Go Launcher EX before. But after some times, I rather use the launcher comes with custom roms. Just simpler and neater.

What you guys are saying is true onl for some launchers, and the one mentioned in this post certinly isn't famous for being light and fast and is probably one of he heaviest around. I made comparisons on actual data, with nova or apex installed as system apps i alwas get around 18-20mb of ram. xperia gx home i tried recently was shooting at around 25-28 which is about the same i got with go...Imo nova has best speed to options ratio available atm
