Hey XDA,
I saw this widget in pics for the Razr Maxx HD, and decided to try and see if I could get it to work on my HTC Evo 4G LTE.
Success! I didn't bother flashing the zip, I just extracted all the .apk files, and installed them manually.
Note: You must use the Atrix Launcher in order to use the Circle Widget! It will NOT work on 3rd party launchers!
(Hopefully someone wants to try and port this so we can?)
Everything works perfectly. Including the weather app. Here's some screenshots:

P.S.: Even though I'll prolly go back to Nova Launcher Prime, I just wanted to see if this widget would work. Too bad no one is trying to port it so 3rd party launchers can use it...? Anyone? (fingers crossed) Thanks again though, looks really sleek. Just wanted to share this on the Evo 4G LTE forums, so if you like it you can try it out too!

Again, download files from the original post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1825836
I have an evo 3d on sos 2.0 rom for 4g but the circles wont load no matter what I try...
I personally love the whole launcher with its quick settings ( your version doesn't have this) but it's so frustrating because it's one of my favorite devices but is the only one I can't get to run any of this bloody crap.

i can give you a link to the pro apk editor, im not to good at it but maybe you can use it to edit the circles apk so it might run on other launchers?

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me get the 3d flip animation to work on my Hero clocks. I have checked out every preview on youtube and seems like Hero does have the feature especially when you unlock the screen.
My device does not do that for some reason and I've tried to switch from one rom to another and still can't get it to work.
I would appreciate if someone could enlighten me as I really love this phone and have been showing it off infront of my iPhone owning friends
Thanks to all in advance
ciao
its been removed on the rom update cuz it takes up too much resources

IMHO, it never did take up too many resources, or was a specific performance issue. It was just that some people saw it as one.
It was just that the clock widget didn't update when the phone was sleeping or otherwise occupied. It *still* doesn't either - I often wake my phone from sleeping and see my clock is some hours in the past until it changes to a new time. It just does switches "instantly", rather than running an animation now.
Regards,
Dave
Ok, so if I wanna see it again I have to roll back to the initial ROM and suffer with the lagginess. No good news
Thank you guys for your feed back.

Animating Flip Clock Widget
I have a clock widget with a real animating flip, which does not require sense. Check my thread.

I was playing with my friends evo the other day... and i really liked his dialer/phone app. is there anyway i can port that over? or is it phone specific? can i just grab the apk over from his phone or a rom?
Pictures &/ link would help quite a bit

Pretty sure system apps are phone specific, the framework is tailored specifically for the Evo.....you can try it, and it if doesnt work just do a restore

how would we able to tell if it would work on the vibrant just by looking at a picture? it doesnt matter what the app looks like.......its the dialer from the evo, which is a system app unique to the model...thats all we need to know.....its obviously safe to say that the app is most likely not coded to function on devices other than the Evo
I suggest just downloading Dialer One from the Market. It has a similar layout to the Sense dialer, and you can customize it how you want. That's why we have 3rd party devs
you could also try "takephone" dialer....just to give you some options
it has cool skins, and a very cool scrollable favorites bar
The EVO runs HTC Sense so there are too many differences in the frameworks that the dialer in HTC Sense needs for it to work. This has been a question that people have asked since the first release of Sense.
there are some system apps that can work on other devices, but it just depends on how much the manufacture of the device changed the system app to use things that they added to the framework. But this is one that will not work on a non-Sense device.
Just found out about IIDA Home Launcher after looking through the screenshots thread. Made a CWM zip to try it out, it's attached.
Original Thread
The original download was the entire system/app dump of the Xperia(i think). I cut it down to only the IIDA apks, nothing get over written so you can delete the files after installing if you decide to ditch it.
My first impressions, it's really cool. It's like WP7 Metro but the app drawer is just a downward scroll instead of an icon.
But we'll have to work on it a bit to make it work on the Atrix. Also we'll have to figure out how to add locations to the lists, right now it seems to be only Japanese cities. And the email tab doesn't work. Also, we'll probably want to silence the beep on touch, but that's probably as easy as replacing a sound file with silence.
Here's a few screens:

I used this launcher for a couple days just before CM7 was updated. It was fun finding pictures and "flare" but it was also kind of buggy. At one point the calendar just disappeared and when I reflashed I forgot how frustrating moving all of my apps from the bottom to their respective sections was. Moments later CM7 came out and I left it in the dust. But I'm back on Darkside now since I need Webtop. I'll definitely give it another go.

This is awesome, i cant wait.
the weather app(the one with japanese cities only) is a different game, it pulls the information from a 2 different websites one for area and one for prefecture, we do not use prefectures in America so im kinda scratching my head to see how we are going to make this app work , the twitcheck app does not deodex properly according to another member who tried and i can't seem to find the facebook check or the music tile for the launcher, the Launcher itself is more than stable and it can be used on a daily basis.
check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313247&page=10 there is a conversation between me and another member who is working on the same launcher too.
Hi all,
I have been trying and trying but have been unable to follow all of the instructions out there in order to create this myself.
I really just want to swap white flip backgrounds and black number on the large clock widget to the reverse, black flip backgrounds and white numbers.
It seems this is a little harder than I though as just editing the relevant images in fusion.apk was not enough.
Please can someone make this for me?
thanks.
Can anyone help with this? I know there are a number of themes where the flip clock has been changed but none thhat stick close to stock and almost all for CDMA. It would be great if someone would take up this challenge for us GSM'ers....
I got ya. Might take me a day or two. (no free time right now) what I normally do is include it in a skin. I can take a "stock skin" look and invert the clock. Then all you will have to do is install a skin and select and walaa!

Thank you so much. Please do let me know if there is anything you want me to "pull" from the ROM or such like. It would be great is this can be done via a skin rather than a flashable zip!! I do know that the flipclock sits in fusion.apk though so not sure how well it will work.
Thanks though.
The ROM your using....
Does it still look like a stock ROM?
Sense 3.0 ?

Yes it does although it has LeeDrOiD tweaks which is an extension of Zeus mod I think, so it can edit colours and lockscreens and rosie on the fly. Just look at the OPENING of the thread in the GSM dev forum.
SwiftKeyed from my LeeDrOiD HTC EVO 3D
if your a DIY then see the zip i attached to this post. place the items in your m10 from your fusion.apk
if your a DIFM then give me just a little bit more time and i will have a installable skin ready.

Thank you so much knightwolf123, it really is greatly appreciated and I hope it becomes properly worth your while having added it to the play store
First, let me throw some FAQS.
The name of this icon style is M'Flat
This was originally made by Mushcube from DA
Yes, he shared the PSD file in his DA account. So people can create more icons for themselves since he decided to not making more of it.
I'm not attaching any of Mr. Mushcube's works. If you want to get his icon pack along with the PSD, simply go to this link: M'Flat It's his DA M'Flat post on DA
Yes, I open request for anyone who is having not much of experience with Photoshop. I would like to help you guys to make icon(s) that is not included in the pack Mr. Mushcube made (such as SoundRecorder, Tapatalk, XDA, etc)
This is NOT an Icon Pack (neither the one Mr. Mushcube made)
I do not take a single penny from this thread or from everyone. I do this for free for everyone
ENJOY!
If I left out some things important, please do tell me :fingers-crossed:

This is how it looks like mixed with Mr. Mushcube's icons and using Nova Launcher Prime

Now, if you want to request some icons. PM me
Just remember that MAX 5 ICONS for the first request :good:
Sadly, these icons are not on the PlayStore yet, moreover non-flashable. I was wondering if you could help out to make an APK of the icon pack for some 3rd-party launcher like Nova/Apex/etc, so people won't have to edit the icons manually (cause it takes REALLY long to do it manually). If you can, again, PM me!
