Any rom which you install apart from the rom originally provided with your mobile is a custom rom...and yes by installing the above rom your phone will become ics

I rooted my phone and when i install custom rom likn send by you it wont work, It says system aborted and should i wipe out factory data and can u tell me exact way to install custom rom in writing.

NO! A-DROID rom (from link above) is just modified original 2.3.6. At this moment, there is no ISC rom for SGA Duos and there is only small chance that there be any in the future.
Anyway, A-DROID rom (togetrer with kernel) is worth installing. You gain little smoother performance and some new features (see description on rom page)

hey i have a galaxy s3 gt-i9300 i rooted my phone and installed omega v18 rom (JB)
i wanted to apply the jb domination v1.2 theme on my galaxy s3 but when i go to download i get three files and m confused which file to download for my phone,i tried all the three files according to the steps given but after installing when i reboot my device as per the steps nothing changes and theme does not get applied..i want to knw which file to download and how to get that theme to work on my phone..please help.

aah! thnx one more thing..i have installed omega v18 now if i install omega v 19.1 wil all my aplications get deleted again? any way to backup them up or update omega to 19.1 without loosing ne aplications?

We know that there isn't an official upgrade ROM for s7562 , so i have thought what about trying a custom ROM ?
Did anyone tried the Chinese phone(mostly Clones) ROM's
So my question is can we install for example

No you can't
No, you can't install this phone's ROM to galaxy s duos, it has different hardware and doing that will not work, there is only one custom ROM for our phone as much as I know, It is called KyleOpen ROM and it has ICS base.

there is only one successfully working custom ROM I found that is same 4.0.4, I hope developers ll cook some working jelly bean for our device.

There are NO JellyBean ROMs for S Duos yet. Flashing non-compatible ROMs can brick your device.
KyleOpen ROM is the only custom ROM available for your device

I do not own this device but all the links to the rom are not for the rom, but are for gapps 4.2.2. if you flash them you are bound to brick your device.
hey just heard about samsung galaxy s duos s7582... which suppors jb 4.2 which is not supported by s7562 and is still having 4.0.4 stock any ideas on how we can port the 4.2 release to s7562 ??

It is not a JB rom! Its an ICS only! Just tweaked in settings to 4.2.2. Genuine ICS rom nevertheless

Available RAM looks promising. Are you sure we can flash this without any harm to our device?
If yes, then I'm ready to test it.
EDIT: I see that you have used Cheatman's kernel. Is it OC1 kernel @ 1.2 GHz? If not can I use OC1 kernel without any performance implications?

Why dont you try with stock rom of s7582( new S DUOS 2) it has stock rom of jb
I have heard that s duos is getting jb update and the Chinese one (s7562c) has received jb 4.1.2. Is it true???
Has anyone got the update???
EDIT:Sorry, I got to know that S7562c is galaxy trend duos.

OK. First rule of XDA is don't bump threads more often than once a day. You've already been told it's not possible unless you want to flash a rom that's already deodexed, and until someone else comes along to refute that, you wait patiently. Do not bump this thread again for another 24 hrs.

i have got galaxy note 2 gt n7100 and it is rooted. i want to install kitkat rom on it but unfortunately i couldn't find any custom rom for my device specially made for " India " INU. so can u help me out in finding the one.

i am having stock rom of kitkat, can i install stock rom on my rooted galaxy note 2 gtn7100.

U can go with ditto note 3 (dn3) custom rom which is most popular for our beloved note 2

I don't know for shure, but for mine version there is one stock KitKat with note 3 and galaxy s5 features and it's pretty sweet ROM.
You could check if there is the same for yours..[emoji6]
