Please i need advise! How to transfer the kernel to another ROM? Extract "boot.img" and what's next? And how do I add new languages to the ROM? :silly:

How about building the kernel from source? It would be much more fun and all yours.

For Kernel, you need to replace the boot.img with that of yours.
About language, I'm not sure.

Does your custom rom not have its own app for updating ..

Ok thank you .. But how could I do to include this option?
there is an app called update me on the market, contact the dev and he should be able to tell you how to include it into your Rom, but this isn't for Samsung updates, it is purely to update your Rom

Find the kernel you want in a CWM flashable .zip, make sure its for your device, and flash it.
Nandroid backup first.

get the boot.img, crack it open, grab the kernel image, grab the modules. Google any-kernel updater. Flash that 5hit!

But i don't know what kernel is it.
Because it comes with a especific rom, i only need that the rom i use can have swap partition enabled and support for amarulluz script

change boot.img and system/lib/modules from kernel rom,in windows think you have to re zip it? not sure and reflash rom,with wipe recomended
I have a boot.img of Y210, buddy can help me mod Swap RAM for this kernel because Ram is very low (50-80mb) ! Thank!

Swap support must be enabled/added in kernel source and need to compile new kernel. There's nothing much u can do with existing precompiled kernel.

Excuse me sir. I guess this is source-kernel-2.6.38.6-U8815- Gingerbread on Huawei ascend Y200. But it same as Huawei ascend Y210 and we stuck at edit to suitable Y210. So please help we, and you can invite someone can help our trouble. Thanks a lot !
