google does not believe in external storage for its devices. It will create lots of problems. 16GB out to be enough for everything . THen there is USB OTG for others.
Another question i have is that Nexus 4 seems to use micro sim. So if i import one from US, will i able to use it here. I have seen ways to make your own micro sim.
Frankly speaking I am more excited with Nexus 10 launch that Nexus 4. Nexus 7 3G is also great news. Google is hell bent on landsliding every competitor
I'm in sync with 'all the above' - considering Nexus 7 to shootout with my wife's pending iThing-Mini - looking at Nexus 4, but would consider Nex 3 or other LG. I'm one of those that have gained a healthy respect for the anvil-like P500/509 [in my case].... Was/is an under-rated device that delivers way more bang-per-buck than critics credit. THat plus the little-recognized fact of pretty good Tech Support from LG people... I give them a 8/10 in my experience. even as old as the device is, their 'chat' people are great if you just have a bit of working knowledge to give them direction.

I have to agree Craigslist has gotten worse over time. I use to be able to sale something and get most of what I spent on it, but now I only get about a fraction. But, I don't entirely blame Craigslist for this, I have come to realize android phones really do not retain there value well because the sheer number of them in the market. I know bringing up Apple may get me flamed but Igadgets do fare a lot better on Craigslist even after the next iteration is released. And yes I own a Note and an IPad 3/hd/New.. Are what ever their calling it now....hahaha

Good point. Works out pretty good for me as my upgrade isnt till next August. If Nokia and Sprint havn't released a WP8 device by then (which is likely due to sprints weird hatred for windows phone) the nexus will be my next phone.

I'm dealing with the question of which device as well. Our company upgrades to new devices every year and we are at that point. Having read all the reviews comparing the latest and greatest I am still unsure. Doubt it will be the Nexus since the hardware is more dated than the other two. I'm a bit hesitant to get a phone with no removable battery especially when we all know how handy a battery pull can be when installing custom roms. So, might be the S3.

Just picked up the galaxy nexus at Sprint. Great phone. Fantastic price. US galaxy s3 is three times more expensive, marginally larger screen, and only has a dual core 1.4 the cpu. Ultimate I found the nexus to be a much better value and for the most part every bit as functional as the s3.

Hey, that's my plan also! (of course I was a little slow on the draw the other day....I mistakingly thought the nexus 4 wouldn't sell out in 30 minutes.ha).
Also waiting on note 3. Soc chips. 1080p screen. And more delicious rumors mostly coming from the s4 that we'll probably see on the note 3.

On contract? I'm on TMO and I guess that's were my flaw is, because they are selling it will full upgrade for $250 something. They are having a sale today and tomorrow for $199 but that's with a rebate that requires customers to pay outright then get the rebate later. Anyways I don't have an upgrade till next year so there is absolutely no way for me to find a good deal with the price of the note 1 right now.

Refurbished isn't rebuilt. I've had refurbs that were brand new other than the box being opened on numerous occasions. Refurbished just means its tested and inspected as a 100% working device.

My girlfriend has the S3 and I have the note. I like the S3 and it's pretty zippy stock but I don't think I could part with my note's screen size and with the devs here, my phone is operates just as fast as hers. Also:

I read on reddit this guy who works for a phone company describing the process of refurbished phones. In actuality they are heavily tested to work 100% like new with new parts and most of the time it's a cracked screen. They work more properly than a brand new phone because a new phone isn't tested by an individual. Additionally, you will run into less problems. In all respects though, as good as our developers are- the gs3 is a sexy piece of hardware I'd take it in a heartbeat. Plus the cases.... Ohhhh the cases...

Hello everyone , here is a new thread for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 , one of the most awaited phones this year. Looking forward to having a note with ALOT more storage again, been hard living with only 64gb on my note 5 lol.
I really hope the rumours are off base and sammy offers a non edge version though as that will likely kill it for me, not even remotely an edge fan.

3600mah battery will be too small. It needs to be at least 4000mah so that people can justify switching from S7 or S7 Edge. Over time, the Note 7 will become slow just like all other Samsung devices though.

It's not a rumor, Samsung already sent out the invites for the event on the 2nd.

I heard $949.00 US plus tax = over a G-Note.

I can't see N on it yet, its still in dev preview on the nexus line.

Wow guess i will be passing on it...the days is over i spend so much money on a phone now
I keep hearing about carrier only versions ... I hope this docent mean a gimped note 7 I'm considering this over the iPhone 7 since its looking to be a let down
Just hoping for root on this, Samsung is going the apple route with these locked down phones.

Not the Canadian or International exynos versions..at least not on the S7 the bootloader is not locked. Only snapgradon versions.
Lets see what they do on the note.
i just know ill never buy a device that's got a locked BL which cannot be easily unlocked.

Is it confirmed that the bootloaders for u.s. carriers will all be locked down? I hope not this sucks.

Hard to say, since the S7s are one would think that the notes would follow suit. But who knows, we cannot be sure until people have the device in hand.
Its not a huge problem really just buy a CAN or International version to avoid the locked down models.
people with those versions on the S7 seem not to be having issues running them in the US.
