As I said on my last thread...THAT WAS UNJUSTLY CLOSED!!!...AtrICS 2.0 FC's on me when using the messaging app too quickly; has anyone had this trouble?
Seeing as how both ICSROM AND AtrICS run hot (pun intended), is there anyway to cool them off (pun intended)?
Also, is there a way to dual-boot the two?

I think you may need this more then a perfect ICS rom

I did?! It appears so, but if I might add, I like both and both run hot and I want to dual boot...BOTH!!!...thus I am sticking to my thread topic AND the other topic I had did get out of hand AND dont post rude and insinuating links please.
Btw...took ritalin as a child and it didn't work for me due to the fact I have Aspergers (not officially recognized worldwide yet) <(^_^)>

No need to close IMO. There are many others that are also not used anymore and yet they remain open. If a thread is not interesting anymore, it will just naturally sink lower on the list anyway. Besides, what would people like maggedo do if it wasn't for old unused threads to bump for no good reason?

I just got the ability to update to to 4.1.83.
Is this the update with the real new radio that enabled HSDPA+ and etc.
I currently have GreyBlur v2.1 w/ side-loading & tethering & the baseband 1.87 for the "fake enabled better 3G speeds" thing.
Can this new update be rooted, tethered, side-load, etc. Or is it like an entirely new firmware? Is it worth it to get this new update?
I am confused and cannot find a good source, sorry.... Thanks!

1) yes
2) you can't delete posts, so SEARCH for a answer first, then GO TO the QUESTION and ANSWER (Q&A) board and ask if you can not find the answer.
3) Don't forget to look at the rules they are stickied on top of the forums.
What kernel do you like to use?

Glitch ... I'm not a big fan of the "stock" kernel. I have been trying to get the Glitch kernel flashed with Espresso Runnymede SII but I cannot get to work. Is there anything special that I need to do in order to get the Glitch kernel flashed? I have flashed CM7.1 then flashed Espresso SII and then tried flashing Glitch but each time I only get to the Android splash screen and it never goes past that. Please help.
BTW ... I love your Rom. It is one of the better ones that I have flashed to my phone and I have tried them all. Just fix a lot of the fc's.

Dude don't get me wrong I love JT's work also and appreciate everything that he has done for the Fascinate. I just prefer a different kernel than his, no offense to anyone else.
I have been reading these forums for several months now and everyone always takes things so personal, most people on here love what they do and want to put out a great product for their phone and share in their profit.
I wish everyone would just get along and help each other out. Thanks to all the developers for their hard work and I appreciate everything that they have done.

Yeah... please don't. Usually it just backfires because no one will want to help you after being tricked in to clicking on your thread. Plus it's a very good way to pick up an infraction and possibly have your ability to post restricted or get yourself banned.
The Q&A section is there to help keep things organized and uncluttered. The search button would probably be much faster though.

Since nobody has said anything about this milestone yet, dragonzkiller has announced on twitter about 6 hours ago that CM9DX2 alpha might be released either tonight or tomorrow! Big props to him for working so hard on getting ICS onto our phones.

So, I'm curious, what benefits do we get from cm9 as opposed to cm7? Ics is nice, but will there be new features? Or is it just a cleaned up GUI. I know that ics should be able to multi-thread when gingerbread can't, so is that going to happen with our phones? (my guess is not until kexec starts working)

Well as of right now, only dragonzkiller knows how much ICS it will bring us. If its a full CM9 port, Im sure we will have all of the ICS features unless some things dont work. But this is a first Alpha so I'm sure not everything will work. It's just a wait and see right now.

Im sure there will be quite a few things not working at first. He's probably only releasing it because he has the main stuff working like data, wifi, cellular network, hopefully sms. I've been watching some videos on cm9 and saw that some other ports didnt have the camera working.
I saw this thread in one of the forums and could relate to most of them.. so just post and complete this sentence "You know you're rooted when.."..
had a hearty laugh at some ones.. so thought I should share em with you guys..
