Title says it all really, has happened on more than one rom someone help please

hey guys,
every time i flash a new ROM, it fails. in partucular, any ICS rom often FCs all my system apps and widgets, including messaging. i have tried one of CM9 nightlys and HyDrOG3NICS v1.4. they all work well apart from these crashes anything i can do?

I had this problem, failing, but works fine after I did a full reset, I did the reset due to other problems, but it seem to have fixed that too.

Hi,maybe someone to help? Installed handcent sms 2 days ago. Everything used to be fini since this morning i've noticed that all my sms couldn't be sent via handcent. Tried to reboot but same, whereas using stock messaging app sms send without any issues. Uninstall handcent and install from play but still same issue. Would appreciate any help as i really love this app and cannot use it.
Note that running stock rom and not rooted.

did you do update to app? there might be a bug on the app.. i suggest you email the dev.
ooooor i suggest also that you clear the app's cache

well, it might be a bug i hope you get it all sorted out anytime soon! Handcent is my favorite 3rd-party messaging app because of its simplicity and themes.. i find Go over rated •_•

Hmm. Same issue buddies. Tried anothe app, pansi sms, but still cannot send sms. I think its my device, tried to root phone but nothing to do

you said using stock messaging does the job? well did you try a factory reset/wipe cache?

Yeah it does the job. . Hum not yet :-\ lazy lol, too much to cnfigure after fctory reset damn. . .

so to resume.. contacted handcent guys.. tried a test version but still same issue. factoty reset device.. same issue..
today flashed JB and also re root device.. full reset again.. fresh install handcent from play store but same issue.
can anyone here help me please? even pansi sms have the same issue.

Issue solved now.. simple thing.. no message service center was stored on phone and my phone number was not saved on device also. After solving these prob went away now using handcent fine

Guys, please help Me out. I just reinstalled stock with a lot of effort. Now i boot ky phone and the first thing that pops up is messaging has stopped working. What should i do ? What is the reason for this and how should i rectify it ?

So message app is not working or you are unable to send message's. What is the error you getting at the moment.
